  Description

  I’m Olivier and I live in South West France, (1 hour from Bordeaux) with my wife and 2 children aged 8 and 10 and Gilbert the dog.
  
  We’ve lived here for 3 and a half years and moved from the UK for a lifestyle change in a beautiful part of France.
  
  We are a fun and friendly family. My wife and I speak a little French, but the children are fluent.
  
  We live in a Chateau that we are currently renovating and your work will be helping us with this.

  You will get to experience French life and have the opportunity to explore the South West region, with its history and culture. We also have a number of artisans working on the project who can offer you new skills.

  Help

  We are looking for help renovating our chateau. The prioirty help will be gardening as we aim to make the outside area look beatufiul. You may also be required to paint and do general house maintenance. Some help with the animals (a large friendly dog and 4 cats) and some fun play with the children aged 10 and 7 who speak both French and English.

  Accommodation

  You will stay at the chateau with us in the guest house which will be newly renovated. There is a main bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living area. We will provide you with your main meals.

  It’s a beautiful place to explore in your spare time with Bordeaux city only 45 minutes on a train and many other medieval villages and attractions.
  
  If you drive we have a spare car you can use.
