  • Description

    Description

This is a real permaculture site. We are working to make the site 100% self-sufficient by managing thermocompost, chicken compost, bokashi, wormycompost, black soldier flies compost, keylines, swales, compost toilet, young fruit trees, garden, animals (pigs, sheep, horses, hens, ducks, turkeys, rabbits, bees, ecc...) in regenerative pasture and/or others sustainable sistems (like Joel Salatin's Raken House, ecc...).
We are building wooden structures in line with the holistic concept of the site.
We are preparing/cooking meals by site products (if available) and babysitting our 2 children: Liam and Logan.
We have no defined schedules, but we need people of good will who do not look at the clock: ours is a continuous job/not-job on the farm.
Unfortunately we do not have the possibility to host vegans.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

The experience will be rich in knowledge on how to prepare various types of compost and on how to manage a site in permaculture in its first years of life, obtaining profit from our work to finance the project.
Our goal is to become an educational farm in the next three years, where, in collaboration with the schools, we will sensitize the new generations to a style of agriculture, pasture and regenerative and eco-sustainable life.

  • Help

    Help

We need volunteers of good will to speed up the construction of the site (through the construction of small wooden structures) and for help in the management of composting, grazing, pasturing, pruning, building, gardening and sometimes babysitting children.
We need enterprising people, that want to learn everything about creating, managing and maintenancing a permaculture site in its first years after design project.
We have no defined schedules, but we need people of good will who do not look at the clock: ours is a continuous job/not-job on the farm.

    Accommodation

If that's okay with you, you will sleep with other guys who are helping us in a tent campsite and we will try every day to provide the best food our farm has to offer (failing that we will take organic food), so that you can also help us in cooking and/or preparing meals.
We have no defined schedules, but we need people of good will who do not look at the clock: ours is a continuous job/not-job on the farm.
