Description
We are Francesca and Dimitri, an elderly Greek-Italian couple living in Kefalonia. Dimitri is a passionate and well-known local artist who, along with Francesca, has created an artistic oasis on this beautiful, wild, and rugged island.
Francesca speaks Italian, English, Greek, and French, and Dimitri, who is Greek, speaks only Italian and a few words of English.
While we have some holiday studios, we do not require assistance with them, as we are supported by skilled and dedicated hospitality experts who manage everything. However, as we age, we may need help with certain physical tasks, such as carrying heavier shopping bags or assisting Dimitri as he adds his artistic touch to our environment.
During the off-season, Francesca often travels to Italy, and Dimitri would love to have someone who speaks Italian with him for companionship.
Together, they will explore the island's beautiful beaches in search of objects that will become part of Dimitri’s artworks.

Here, when Francesca is around, she speaks fluent Italian, Greek, and English.
Francesca is from Italy and speaks Italian with me. We also both speak Greek but do it less so. Francesca has also lived in the UK and Ireland for a long time. Here she taught Italian.
I have been working as an artist for almost 40 years.
I'd rather define myself as an alchemist because I love to give new life to discarded objects, thus creating a magic union of every little material with the universe.
The workawayer will be able to assist me in the creative process.
Francesca and I would also be happy to share our story with you.
Help
We love having company, especially during meals. As we age, we may need help with certain physical tasks, such as carrying heavier shopping bags or assisting Dimitri as he adds his artistic touch to our environment.

Kefalonia is the largest island in the Ionian Sea.
Along its coastline lie marvelous beaches all different from one another (fine sand, pebbles, cliffs). It is adorned with picturesque villages, panoramic roads, wild landscapes, and evergreen woods that reach the sea. If you enjoy hiking, this is the perfect place to explore as it offers plenty of hiking trails and opportunities for full immersion in nature.
We would be delighted to suggest some traditional tavernas, hiking tracks, and hidden gems on the island, and provide you with any assistance you require during your stay.

We welcome digital nomads and offer an excellent WiFi connection. Our peaceful studios are perfect for creative minds to work in.
Can possibly accept pets
We are animal lovers, small dogs, (under 12 kg) are welcome! :) We share our house with our little princess Jinny, a 5-year-old dog, Miciako, Corinna, and Micetto the cats. The property has a spacious outdoor area protected by a fence.
