Description
Hi everybody! My profile is long because I try to give as many details as possible so please read it all before writing to me! Thank you! :)
----------------------------------
I'm Lulu, 35 yo French mom of Yuni, an half Japanese 3 yo little girl, living in Hagi Japan for 5 years. I recently divorced and started to rent my own house in the mountain side of Hagi where I'm doing bnb and raising up my daughter all by myself.
I mainly essentially need help for sharing daily life like a community :
* Vegan/vegetarian cooking GLUTEN&LACTOSE FREE for lunch to be ready when I come back from work around noon (I work 3 hours every morning at an organic veggies farm)
* cleaning (with many people around, vacuum is necessary almost everyday)
* laundry sometimes
* Baby sitting:
My daughter is 3 and a half, she doesn't control her emotions yet and she has a LOT of energy. She can be very noisy and requires PLENTY of attention, moreover as she has almost no screen at home.
She generally goes to the kindergarten 5 mornings a week from 8:45 to 2pm. She wakes up around 7:30 and I need help making her breakfast, getting her ready while reading her books and feeding her and cuddling her... while getting me ready for work too.
I need help when she comes home, to play with her or to do the cores that have to be done, as I can't do both at the same time and dinner has to be ready before she starts to be hungry or she will cry loud all the time it takes to cook.
I need help to stay with her when I have rehearsal as I am a musician with concerts every week ends. She usually stays at her dad's on weekends but there are exceptions, as well as for the kindergarten (holidays, days off, sickness...).
I give priority to French persons as the language can be a strong barrier to communicate with Yuni and it is tiring for me to translate everything. But it went well with some English speakers too and Yuni's trying her best to learn English so I'm still open to any nationality.
If we are enough people and have time and motivation, there are other works I need help with:
* gardening: with spring now I need help to clean the garden, cut grass and some branches. If we could grow some veggies that would be great.
* DIY , craft : someone with carpenter skills or used to DIY would be very helpful. I want to build storages, hen house, ladder... Would be great to paint some parts of the house for nice decoration too.
It sounds big but actually I've just started and though I have a sustainable project I want to build here mainly by growing my own veggies and fruits, I haven't had time nor money to barely manage more than normal daily life until now.
I have one private room for workawayers and sleeping place in the living room if we are a lot. It's traditional Japanese style: we sleep on the tatami over futons.
For food, as I can't provide for everything for everybody, we will share the fee 2 000¥ a week each person staying at home. It doesn't cover it all but I think it's a fare arrangement for everybody.
The best is to eat all together so we cook once for everyone and we share the same life rhythm and a good moment.
It makes it really easier if we can get along on the same life rhythm, which is generally waking up around 7:30 and sleeping at around 8~9pm.
The working time here is not very precise as it is mainly about sharing the daily life raising up a young child, so I need someone who easily adapts, can take decisions, have some independency and used to young children (or at least, really likes them). The very strict minimum required to apply is to be clean enough so that you being here doesn't give me more work, please.
Be aware that it can be very tiring sharing daily life with a young child, especially with random working times.
I have BnB rooms but workawayers will not be helping with any business activities and the cleaning help is only for my private home and not for the accommodation business.
Of course, you can take your own time at any moment, first of all when Yuni is at the kindergarten or her dad's house. Here is a good environment to go for a walk, cycling, relaxing...
You can also take your own time alone in your room or take one or 2 full days in Hagi to visit, or even 3 days to visit further, especially if we are 2 or 3 helpers who can take turns to help me at home.
I can drop you in Hagi for sightseeing when I go to practice and we can go shopping together, we can also visit some places together like the mountain where I get the spring water we drink, you can join me at work if you want to see Japanese organic agriculture (my boss would be very happy), I can drive you to the onsen and so on. Hagi is a small historical city, with a lot of preserved old houses and lots of nature: mountains and sea in one sight, and many birds, forests and rivers.
----------------------------------
The house is located in the mountain side of Hagi city, 20 minutes by car from Hagi center. I can drive you there and pick you up when I'm also going to the city, otherwise there is a bus station 500m from home so you can also move around by bus. I have bicycles to lend you too, a bit hard to go to the city (but still possible) but perfect to cycle around the area, which is very beautiful with many things to see like waterfalls and shrines. Yuni's kindergarten is also close enough to cycle there so we can go together.
As I had some bad experience with workawayers before you will have a kind of job interview before I accept you just to make it sure about the help I need and your own skill to fit it.
But don't worry I'm not a terrible monster and feel free to contact me just for asking anything else you'd like to know!

Hagi is a small old town that has been preserved in the old traditional style. You can see here a lot of old buildings like samurai houses but also old walls, old streets and there is also local pottery and many shrines and temples. You can improve your Japanese when I introduce you to my friends.

I mainly need help with sharing daily life: house cores (cooking, cleaning, laundry...), and baby sitting. I need someone independent, clean, who can take decisions and used to young children.
I also need help for gardening (basically keeping the garden clean) and some DIY if we have time and motivation.Languages

About languages, my daughter is 3 and already started to speak 3 languages. I used to be fluent in Spanish but I forgot a lot since I came to Japan.
