  • Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

At our place, cultural exchange is hands-on and practical. You’ll learn about sustainable living, including permaculture gardening, natural building techniques, and making eco-friendly products like soaps and creams. We share holistic practices like yoga, Shakti dance, and singing meditation, and holistic knowledge, naturopathy, Ayurveda, Chinese medicine, and sustainability.

Cooking and eating together is a big part of our daily life, giving you a chance to learn vegetarian recipes and experience the joy of preparing meals as a group. You'll also participate in communal tasks, gaining skills in gardening, and animal care while contributing to our self-sufficiency.

Our setting is surrounded by nature, with opportunities to explore local trails, beaches, hot springs, and mountains. You’ll leave with new skills, connections, and a deeper understanding of sustainable, community-focused living.

  • Help

    Help

We are looking for enthusiastic, proactive individuals who are eager to contribute to our growing community. Help is needed with a variety of tasks, including:

    - Gardening and Permaculture: planting, harvesting, helping in the fruit and vegetable gardens, composting and moving towards self-sufficiency.
    - Daily Community Tasks: cleaning and organizing communal spaces, feeding and caring for animals, land and cooking together.

We welcome those with experience in permaculture, or sustainability, but prior knowledge isn’t necessary—what matters most is your enthusiasm, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively. Tasks are organized based on skills and interests, so everyone feels valued and engaged.

This host offers a language exchange
Yes, we welcome language exchange! Our community is multilingual, and we encourage Workawayers to share their language and learn from others. Whether it's through daily conversations, cooking together, or participating in group activities, there are plenty of opportunities to practice and improve language skills in an open and supportive environment.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

We offer simple but comfortable accommodations based on availability. Volunteers can stay in shared dorm rooms, tents, or campers, with shared cooking and relaxation spaces. The facilities are designed to support a communal lifestyle while providing enough personal space to rest and recharge. Meals are vegetarian and prepared together as a community, adding to the shared experience. For those traveling in campervans, we also provide dedicated parking space. Internet access is limited, encouraging a focus on nature and connection with others.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

Our project is located in a serene, natural environment surrounded by woods and beautiful rock formations. It’s an ideal place for those who enjoy nature and a peaceful lifestyle.

We are a drug-free community, and while mindful use of wine or beer is welcome, we focus on maintaining a harmonious and healthy atmosphere. Free time can be spent exploring nearby walking trails, beaches, hot springs, and the Limbara mountains, all within a 30-minute drive. For rock-climbing enthusiasts, there is a bouldering park close by.

Weekly team meetings help keep everyone aligned, and tasks are organized based on your skills and preferences. With 4 - 5 hours of work per day, you’ll have plenty of time for personal rest, exploration, or participation in community activities like yoga, dance, or meditation.

For families, this is also a child-friendly environment with opportunities for kids to explore, play, and engage in fun, educational activities. A bus stop is located just 2 km away, making it possible to visit us even without a car.
