Description
Our house is a large gracious old home. It has 5 bedrooms 3 of which are guest rooms. We have a large well established garden surrounded with big trees.
We are centrally located in Hawera which is a thriving town relying on the Dairy, natural gas and oil industries. Hawera’s focal point is the beautiful Mount Taranaki which is half an hour away by car. We are surrounded by all the wonderful countryside and very close to the costal shore. Famous for great surfing, Opunake is a little more than half an hour away.

Taranaki was recently reviewed as the best place to visit by The Lonely Planet! Hawera is a gateway to that beauty. Our focal point is the beautiful Mount Taranaki which is half an hour away by car. We are surrounded by wonderful countryside and very close to the costal shore. Famous for great surfing, Opunake is a little more than half an hour away.
We warmly welcome our visitors and along with our two small dogs 🐶 Mini and Max you will be treated as part of the family.
Help
Due to work demands and recovering from a recent health issue, we need help with getting the garden up to standard again, pruning, digging, planting. Clearing out the garage, some painting both inside and out. Housework, clearing out and cleaning cupboards and giving the house a good spring clean! Also I would like a hand to prepare our evening meal

You will have your choice of 3 large very comfortable bedrooms each of which sleeps 2 people. One very sunny comfortable room has twin beds. We have 2 bathrooms, 3 sitting rooms, a large kitchen, separate dining room and a laundry. We will share an evening meal which we will prepare together and all other meals you can help yourself to what we have available. We always have a well stocked fridge and pantry.
