Description
Looking for elementary ESL teachers for Jan and February
Dates: Jan 5th to Feb 27th, 36 working days! Must arrive in Korea a minimum of Jan 4th
Hello, I am an American and I own and operate an English kindergarten and elementary school with my wife in South Korea just East of Seoul.
We have over 25 employees, more than 10 are expats from around the world. We are located in Dasan dong, which is a new city in Namyangju, close to Guri on the outskirts of east Seoul. The school is located next to line 8, just 20 minutes from Lotte Tower! The closest hotspots in Seoul from the school are Jamsil and Konkuk University (Kondae).
Korea is known for its food, music and culture. Dasan has numerous things to do and see and also great access to Seoul, one of the largest cities in the world!
I am looking for someone who can teach a fun camp for Korean kids with classes like cooking, drone, chess, and more. The camp runs from 9am to 2:20pm. Additional hours in the evening available if you want to earn more and help with RnD tasks.
Housing or Stipend (0.7 million a month) + 1.2 to 1.5 million a month for morning camp (depending on experience and training required) and an extra 0.6-0.8 million a month if you want to help out with RnD tasks in the afternoon and earn more. There's a lot of flexibility so that the job can work for someone that wants to just work a little and explore, or someone who wants to work more and earn more.
** Must be able to work the whole 2 months, cannot consider someone anyone not available for the whole camp**

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
You will be a part of a workforce of about 25 expats and Koreans. We have an incredibly welcoming and friendly staff of young professionals, mostly in their 20s and 30s. In exchange for 12 hours a week of work (helping with various RnD tasks such as making curriculum books or managing the library) we will provide you with your own private housing (2br 1 bathroom furnished place) located next to Donong Station and 15 minutes away from the school. The staff regularly meets up and there are also numerous opportunities to explore Seoul or meet with other travelers.
