Country house with olive trees and garden oasis in Pastrengo, Italy

  Description

  I own a country house (200 years old, recently completely renovated) with approximately 5,000 square meters of land in Pastrengo (Province of Verona, Italy) on Lake Garda. The property boasts 40 olive trees, grapevines, and fruit trees. I've created a garden with raised beds for vegetables and herbs. The house sits on a hill facing south, surrounded by farmland and a small industrial area. To the south, there are several terraces with olive trees, terraces, and the garden. Flowering ash, blackthorn, oak, and other deciduous trees grow on the slopes. The garden produce is used for our own needs or given to friends. The house is quite large, with a living room, a kitchen, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a very large studio in the attic. An extension provides two storage rooms and a spacious workshop equipped with various machines and tools. My wife sometimes stays in Pastrengo, and sometimes our children and grandchildren do as well. Lake Garda is about 5 km away, Verona is a 20-minute drive, and from Peschiera you can reach Milan or Bologna by train in an hour and Turin or Venice in an hour and a half. Pastrengo is ideally located for exploring the surrounding area or large parts of northern Italy.
  
  Ich habe ein Landhaus (200 Jahre alt, kürzlich grundlegend renoviert) mit ca. 5.000 Quadratmetern Grund in Pastrengo (Provinz Verona, Italien) am Gardasee. Auf dem Grundstück wachsen 40 Olivenbäume, Reben und Obstbäume. Ich habe einen Garten mit Hochbeeten für Gemüse und Kräuter angelegt. Das Haus ist auf einem Hügel gelegen mit Blick nach Süden inmitten von landwirtschaftlichen Flächen und einer kleinen Handwerkerzone. Nach Süden hin gibt es mehrere Terrassen mit den Olivenbäumen, den Eben und dem Garten. Auf den Böschungen wachsen Blumeneschen, Zurgelbäume, Eichen und andere Laubbäume.
  Die Produkte des Gartens dienen der Selbstversorgung oder werden an Freunde verschenkt.
  Das Haus ist recht groß, es gibt ein Wohnzimmer, eine Küche, drei Schlafzimmer, 2 Bäder und ein sehr großes Atelier im Dachgeschoß. Im Zubau gibt es zwei Vorratsräume und eine geräumige Werkstatt mit verschiedenen Maschinen und allerlei Werkzeug.
  Manchmal ist auch meine Frau in Pastrengo, manchmal auch die Kinder und Enkelkinder.
  Der Gardasee ist etwa 5 km entfernt, nach Verona fährt man mit dem Auto 20 Minuten, von Peschiera aus ist man mit dem Zug in einer Stunde in Mailand oder Bologna und in eineinhalb Stunden in Turin oder Venedig. Pastrengo ist ideal gelegen, um die nähere Umgebung oder große Teile Norditaliens zu erkunden.

  Help

  I need help in the garden, with creating and improving the beds, planting, and harvesting. The garden has an automatic irrigation system with a timer, and I try to keep weeds under control in the beds using various mulches. I would also like help in the vineyard, depending on the season, with tying up the shoots, removing leaves, and possibly mowing. I would appreciate help pruning the olive trees and chipping the cut branches. I would also like help with woodworking, such as cutting and splitting. I have acquired some knowledge and practical experience, which I would be happy to share.
  
  Ich wünsche mir Hilfe im Garten, beim Anlegen und Verbessern der Beete, beim Anpflanzen und Ernten. Der Garten ist mit einer automatischen Bewässerung mit Zeituhr versorgt, ich versuche, in den Beeten durch verschiedenes Mulchmaterial Nebenkräuter in Zaum zu halten.
  Ich wünsche mir Hilfe im Weingut, je nach Jahreszeit beim Anbinden der Triebe, beim Auslauben, eventuell beim Mähen.
  Ich wünsche mit Hilfe beim Schneiden der Olivenbäume und Hächseln der geschnittenen Zweige.
  Ich wünsche mir Hilfe bei Holzarbeiten, schneiden, spalten usw.
  Ich habe mir einiges Wissen angeeignet und habe Praxiserfahrung, das kann ich gerne weitergeben.

  Accommodation

  I can offer accommodation in a double or twin room with a private bathroom, shared use of the kitchen and living room, a large TV in the attic, and internet access. Bed linen is provided, and use of the washing machine is possible. Cooking can be done together or on a rotating basis; the refrigerator and pantry are usually well-stocked with homemade jams, preserves, herbal teas, olive oil from the olives on our own trees, seasonal vegetables from the garden, and fresh strawberries or other seasonal fruits. I believe I am very good at cooking all kinds of pasta, risotto, and various vegetable dishes. There are also some excellent restaurants in Pastrengo. I place great importance on good food.
  
  Ich kann eine Unterkunft in einem Doppelzimmer oder Zweibettzimmer anbieten, ein eigenes Bad, Mitbenützung der Küche und des Wohnzimmers, großer Fernseher im Dachgeschoß, Internet.
  Bettwäsche wird bereitgestellt, Benutzung der Waschmaschine ist möglich.
  Kochen kann man gemeinsam oder abwechselnd, Kühlschrank und Vorratsraum sind meist gut gefüllt, es gibt selbstgemachte Marmeladen, Eingelegtes, Kräutertees, Olivenöl von den Oliven der eigenen Bäume, Gemüse aus dem Garten je nach Jahreszeit, frische Erdbeere oder andere Früchte auch je nach Jahreszeit.
  Ich glaube sehr gut, Nudeln aller Art, Risotto, verschiedene Gemüsegerichte kochen. In Pastrengo gibt es außerdem einige hervorragende Restaurants, Auf gutes Essen lege ich großen Wert.

  I may not be available the entire time. Having your own car is advantageous, but not necessary, as the transport links are good. I'm also happy to pick someone up from the train station or Verona airport (only 20 minutes away).
  
  Es kann sein, dass ich nicht die gesamte Zeit anwesend bin.
  Ein eigenes Auto ist vorteilhaft, aber nicht notwendig, denn die Verkehrsanbindungen sind gut.
  Ich kann auch gerne jemand vom Bahnhof oder Flughafen Verona (nur 20 Minuten entfernt) abholen.
