    ===============
    Beside the farming team, we are looking for one person who can help our Sustainable Project and Mezcal brand to grow through Social Media and Marketing :)
    ===============

    For few years I was backpacking and volunteering around the world... Then I worked on cruise ships as a bartender.

    The 2020 lockdown bought me back home, where I realized the needs of my region in term of growing and preserving the agave species for mezcal production, and the lack of manpower to help this sustainable industry.

    With Viajeros del Mezcal, we will fulfill those needs. Together, mezcal producers, farmers and volunteers, are looking forward to preserve the agave species, planting and farming them, as well as reforesting the area and, the funniest part, we enjoy some mezcal while helping the local producers!!

    We have two kind of activities: farm and community days.

    Farm days start early morning, 5-6 am until the sun becomes too hot for us.
    House / community days start later (7-10 am) until we are done.

    Farm days will be at least two per week, they vary as per seasonal demand.

    It can be from easy to very hard, depending on the activities
    - planting agaves and trees, fertilizing, weeding (the most required activity), harvesting big agaves with machetes and loading trucks with very heavy weights.
    - if possible, participating in some stages of the mezcal making process.

    House / community days will be at least once per week, and can be:
    - House cleaning, cooking, painting or home improvements.
    - School exchange and presentations.
    - Elder house visits and Red Cross help.
    - Selling food at the market.

    *Farm days require good physical condition, no back problem, or farm related allergies (sun, dust, etc)
