    The bakery is located in Haines Junction. It has been around for 30 plus years and is in operation seasonally from end of May to early/mid September. Haines Junction is a smaller town located in the Yukon but offers a large variety of outdoor activites from hiking, canoeing and kayaking, mountain biking, and enjoying the wonderful wildlife. The bakery is a really big deal in Haines Junction and offers great baked goods, sweet treats, and savory sandwiches to its community and tourist visiting.

    You will have a chance to learn how to bake breads, desserts, and other treats along with cooking, smoking and grilling meats. Haines Junction is a small community and has a lot of interaction with each other and can learn many life and survival skills as well.
    There are a lot of hiking and mountain biking trails, Canoeing and kayaking, fishing, wildlife, and many other outdoor activities are offered in Haines Junction and surrounding areas.
    We can also help teach with English and possible other languages that other employees are speak and if they are willing to help teach someone their language.

    We are looking for a few different positions, Cafe Attended - Using POS (point of Sale), making espresso and coffee, help customers by taking orders and bringing them food, washing dishes and helping out other employees with tasks needed done. Bakers - working overnight to bake fresh bread, pastries and other treats daily. Cooks - Making soups, salads, sandwiches and other items being prepared daily for sale, helping with meals for catering and music nights.
    Starting pay for cafe is $17, Cook starting pay is $18, and baker starting pay is $20.

    We provide Staff housing that is located behind the bakery. Each room has electricity and heat. Also provide is a washroom with toilet, shower, and washer and drier. Outside of the washroom is a kitchen that all staff members have access to with refrigerator, stove, microwave, burners and few other smaller appliances.

    There are a lot of hiking and mountain biking trails, Canoeing and kayaking, fishing, wildlife, and many other outdoor activities are offered in Haines Junction and surrounding areas. There are other employees that have cars that can provide rides and a lot of locals that if you interact with them on Facebook or in person they will provide rides. All there is a free store in town that sometime has bikes that can be picked up for use.
