Description
Myself and my husband are semi retired and live between “Leafy South County Dublin,Ireland “ and a small beautiful fishing village in West Cork.More Cork than Dublin during the Spring & Summer months.
We have 2 adult children,1 of whom lives in Dublin with us .And 1 small dog who also mainly resides in Dublin !
We like to be active,DIY etc, to travel and meet new people,home cook,read ,watch movies & socialise with family & friends.
We have a 25’ sail cruiser which we keep in Cork.
We are looking for a workaway traveller to assist with general household maintenance, painting ,light carpentry,gardening & possibly some computer/tech issues.
A hardworking, independent person, with good practical skills would be the ideal fit for us.Types of help and learning opportunities

Husband is a retired engineer.He is well read on modern Irish & European history .He has considerable farming ,engineering & building expertise.He likes to golf & loves rugby .
Wife is a retired Occupational Therapist and is experienced & interested in disability & social inclusion issues.She loves animals,art, music, reading & is tries to be supportive of realistic environmental initiatives.
We have rental properties which we manage ourselves.Help
We have some light carpentry, gardening/site tidy up,landscaping, painting & general household maintenance, maybe cooking ,plus computer/tech issues that we could do with some help with.
We are flexible & do not necessarily require all of the above.Languages spoken

Accommodation
Own bedroom with bathroom (not en-suite but low usage ) cooking & relaxing areas plus nice garden area.
We can provide cooked meals or ingredients & self catering options depending on what suits the workaway volunteer.
We don’t routinely sit down as a family to eat.What else ...
We live part time in the leafy urban area of South County Dublin .The city,coast & mountains are all nearby with a host of cultural & leisure pursuits on our doorstep.
Public transport is local ,plentiful & inexpensive.
Our West Cork home is on a large plot on the outskirts of a beautiful fishing village.
There are many beaches,forests,country roads and small mountains to explore ,right on our doorstep.A little more information

Plenty of space in Cork .No space in Dublin.
