    Description

Hello my name is Alberto and i have a farm in the edge of a small Town called cenotillo in yucatan México. We have a lot of proyects, the most important being pig farming and watering/gardening, the pork we are growing is an endemic and endagered race called "Cerdo pelón mexicano" (mexican bald pig) they are regional and eat only corn, grains and grass/leaves. Amongst the many proyects we have theres turkeys, chickens, rabbits, sheep, a lot of ponds with carps and tilapia, compost spots, recycling, dry toilets, growing plants of all kinds, tomatoes, pineapples, dragon fruit, habanero and sweet peppers, celery, parsley, rosemary, onions, garlic, ginger, oregano, lots and lots of ornate plants including water lilies which we try to multiply as much as possible. Cactus, flowers and trees of all kinds, fruit trees such as mango, avocado, lemon, orange, prunes, zapote, mamey, we've made a few bonsai trees so we can show you how to do yours too.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

There is always a lot to do and mantain, but what i really like about being here is that i also get to enjoy a lot of the sightseeing, when the chores are done or while taking a small break you can enjoy of all the fauna around the places we have built like the pond and cactus area, there is a lot of water caves called cenotes around, hence the town name; cenotillo, pyramids and nice spots to catch the sunset are just a few km away, sometimes even at 10 minute walks, and most of those roads are full of trees, life and green, theres a lot of towns around worth visiting and most of them just a bus ride away, i also have a house in Mérida, and tours around there can be arranged with anticipation on the spare time we get, we have a vast list of beautiful places to visit, a treat for the sight that you will never regret.
