  Description

  Me and my (since 2015 deceased) wife Emilia moved here 1991 to continue growing the land of her parents. Since then the amount of activities, "side businesses" and people visiting have increased year by year and some side businesses (like the café/restaurant) have become main businesses.
  
  The last years I have found that being more or less alone captain on this ship has been both a bit boring and tough. Therefore I invited some people I trust to take care of it in a more cooperative way. For this year we start to experiment with an even more collective way of doing things with almost everyone working here also living here for a shorter or longer period. During the summer season we are about 20 people (including volunteers) running it together.
  
  We can offer at this stage is 130 SEK/ hour.

  The crew is quite international since around 20 years. Many of us started here as volunteers and came back to work in this real meeting place for ideas and friendship. There is during the season a lot going on here and as part of the team you will be able to take part in most of it on your free time.

  Help

  This place is, among other things, an organic vegetable garden with an associated café that works a lot with products that we produce ourselves.
  We are now looking for someone who has experience and wants to work with our team in the kitchen. The work is seasonal, approximately between mid-May and mid-October and with flexible working hours depending on the weather and month.
  
  Food and lodging are included, but wage setting is in a process in which we try to distribute the profits in a decently equal manner.
  
  What we can offer at this stage is 130 SEK/ hour.
  
  We are a large group from different countries, driven by a vision of community and sustainability from many aspects and we mostly have a hell of a lot of fun, but sometimes we have to work hard and have adversity that we try to solve together. Communication and openness is important.

  Lots of people here want to learn new languages. Among the once mentioned there is also Dutch and French speakers around

  Accommodation

  Small cabin, caravan or room in bus. Toilet and shower rooms shared. We eat a steady breakfast and dinner together. Lunch time is a bit scattered since some people are required in the café for example. There will always be vegan/vegetarian food available as well as sometimes some more meaty stuff.

  What else ...

  During time off you could either take part in our other activities or rome around by feet or bicycle in the area (forrests and an old cultural landscape inhabited since long before the viking age). Take a swim or go canoeing in the fresh water lake Mälaren. You could also go to our lovely capital, Stockholm (with public transportation about 1 hour) or take a day trip to the archipelago.

  Space for parking camper vans

  We already have some of us living in their own "motorhomes" of different sizes. Still lots of space for that available. Especially if you are a family it would be the ideal way to accomodate you.

  Can possibly accept pets

  We already have some animals (cats and birds) running around here. As long as your pets are fine with that and of course don´t scare our visitors they are very welcome.
