We are a family-run small hotel with 8 rooms at the hills of Ida mountain in North Aegean region, Turkey . We have a big garden and a greenhouse where we grow our own vegetables and fruits. Our establishment is well known especially with its cuisine which is based on local vegetables and wild greens as well as sea food. We give a delicate touch inspired from world cuisine to the traditional tastes. Our kitchen is quite well known throughout Turkey and abroad with its original dishes. Our owner-chef Erhan participated to several international events on cooking and got many awards as well. Also he has book in which he describes his adventure of hotel and shares his recipes. We organize cooking classes and some workshops. The hotel is just by the National Park of Ida Mountains and we organize botanical tours as well.
We have a small shop within the hotel where we sell mostly products of our own produce.
Creating/ Cooking family meals
Volunteers can contribute to the project by
- Gardening (general maintenance, caring of herb and flower garden, cactus, preparing and taking care of vegetable garden),
- Any kind of creative energy like music, painting, sculpture or whatever passion that can be shared in the inspiring surroundings of the mithological Ida mountain.
- Yoga teaching (with the option to give classes also to tourists and/or locals).
The accomodation for volunteers is the stone house within the hotel. We have shared rooms and we provide shared cooking and showering facilities. Meals are prepared in the hotel kitchen.
The beach is 3 kms away.There are hiking possibilities and several places to wisit nearby.Assos,Pergamon,Ayvalık and Antandros.
