Description
We are a Turkish-Belgian family of four. Nele (Belgian), Tarık (Turkish), Eren (10 years) and Sena ( 7 years old). We have a house with a garden and a cat. We also own an olive garden in a village close by.
For the months June, July and August we are looking for a playmate for our children during their summer holiday. It could involve playing with them, helping with homework, practicing English (or Dutch) and cooking some days. We also have a nanny who does the cleaning, so no housecleaning involved. We are a nice and warm family and we like guests in our house and different ideas around the table.
We live in Milas. Milas is an small city with a lot of historical sites close by 30 minutes from Ören, a very pitoresk coastal place with a calm sea and a pebble beach. One hour drive from Bodrum, a famous coastal place with a busy night life.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Not just a Turkish exchange but also an exchange with Belgium is awaiting you. We like travelers being a part of the family, having dinner together, spending time together. You could learn a lot about olive trees and harvesting olives and making olive oil. But also about gardening, family life and spending time with children.

Help

In November we will start collecting the olives in the olive garden and since this year a big harvest is expected, we will need a lot of help. It starts with preparing the place around the trees, collecting the olives, sorting the olives from branches and twigs and pressing them into olive oil.
The olive harvest takes two-three weeks and is a full day work.

What else ...
Milas has a lot of historical sites, the sea is 30 minutes away, Bodrum is one hour drive. There is good public transportation. During thee weekend when we are home we dont need somebody to watch our children so weekends are free. During schoolyear, work can be orginized in morning or evening with the rest of the day off.
