Raúl and Marian are such lovely, kind and welcoming people. It was my first workaway experience and they made me feel completely comfortable in their home.

They are fun, interesting, open-minded people and I enjoyed spending time with them. They made a real effort to ensure I had the best experience there. During my stay, we went on lovely walks in local areas of natural beauty. They introduced me to their family and friends, and I got to try some delicious home-cooked traditional Valencian cuisine. They also gave me great recommendations of places in Valencia and neighbouring towns to visit.
I will definitely stay in touch with Raúl, Marian and their son, and I hope to visit them again in Valencia in the future. I highly recommend this workaway to anyone who is after an enriching homestay experience and enjoys interacting with and teaching children!You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

Olivia es una persona maravillosa, siempre dispuesta a ayudar y a colaborar con una sonrisa. Colaboró en las tareas de la casa como si fuera una más de la familia y siempre preguntaba si podía hacer algo más. Es una gran cocinera y disfrutamos mucho sus comidas. Tiene una gran habilidad con los niños, le gusta pasar tiempo con ellos y eso se nota. Es divertida, cariñosa y tiene paciencia. Nuestro hijo disfrutó cada segundo que estuvo con ella y le echó mucho de menos cuando tuvo que irse. Además le enseñó muchos juegos de cartas (Snaps, Cara vaca... ) que le encantan.
Otra gran habilidad de Olivia es enseñar ingles, lo hace con ilusión y de forma divertida, aprovechando en cada momento las herramientas y recursos que tenía a su alcance para que nuestro hijo tuviera ganas de aprender, y si no los tiene, pone todo lo que está en su mano para conseguir los objetivos que se ha puesto para ese día.
Es una persona respetuosa con las normas de la casa y confiable y siempre trata de que haya buen ambiente.
Estuvo con nosotros 3 semanas y nos hubiera encantado que se hubiera quedado más tiempo.
Gracias Olivia por haber compartido tu tiempo con nosotros. Siempre tendrá las puertas de nuestra casa abiertas.

Olivia is a wonderful person, always ready to help and to collaborate with a smile. She helped with the housework as if she was one of the family and always asked if there was anything else she could do. She is a great cook and we enjoyed her meals very much. She likes to share her life and learn new things. We did a lot of activities together, shared meals and she joined in with all the plans we suggested.
She has a great ability with children, she likes to spend time with them and it shows. She is fun, loving and patient. Our son enjoyed every second he spent with her and missed her very much when she had to leave. She also taught him a lot of card games (Snaps, Cara vaca... ) which he loves.
Another great skill of Olivia is teaching English, she does it with enthusiasm and in a fun way, taking advantage of all the tools and resources she has at her disposal to make our son want to learn, and if he doesn't have them, she does everything in her power to achieve the objectives she has set for that day.
She is a person who respects the rules of the house and is reliable and always tries to create a good atmosphere.
She stayed with us for 3 weeks and we would have loved her to stay longer.
