Our unique Moorish house is within an area known as the Costa Azahar, an area of Spain's sandy coastline which is little-explored by tourists.
We are seeking a pleasant outgoing person to join an easy-going, friendly but hard-working mid twenties host who is renovating this characterful old house and, whilst keeping its Moorish character, aiming to bring modern comfort to it.
Ideally you should be able to stay for at least two weeks to a month as this is a large project needing time, patience and energy.
This is a summer home with three generations of family history attached to it.
Of late it has been receiving the care and attention it really needs, but the task needs more willing hands.
I have an optimistic, outgoing nature and am interested in reading, problem solving, outdoor pursuits and philosophy.
I am easy-going and considered to be a good conversationalist.
(Having previously been a Workawayer myself I understand the role from both perspectives )
I can guarantee you will be fairly and honestly treated here.

Our project will involve a variety of tasks including painting and decorating, plastering, possibly floor tiling and simple DIY carpentry.
(Knowledge of plumbing would be useful too).
Previous knowledge of these skills would be handy, but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn one or two simple skills is more important and will make you a welcome addition.
You will be asked to work for 5 days for 4-5 hours and will have every weekend off to enjoy the area.
If you are travelling around using a van or car for transport that would be really helpful!
