  • Description

Brand new hostel opening in the heart of Oaxaca City Centro looking for friendly, outgoing Workawayers! We currently employ 10 locally staff to do our cleaning and maintenance on our large hostel, and already have a couple of helpers also-- but we need YOUR help with our front desk! Our reception area is large and comfortable, covered in UV street art and has a "netflix" area. We need someone to welcome our guests as if they are family, and show them what the awesome city has to offer (while exploring it themselves).

Our hostel has a pool, comfortable beds and many other amenities. We have large outdoor common areas complete with pingpong tables, board games and plush couches.
Soon we will offer salsa dance classes and Friday night group dinners.

In town there are many art galleries and museums, botanic gardens, restaurants and tons of shopping. The colorful streets of Oaxaca are breathtaking and (of course) super instagramable. In just a couple short months, celebrations for Dia los Muertos will begin here in Oaxaca, which is an incredible time to experience the magic of this beautiful town.
Additionally, there are tons of nature areas surrounding us. It is easy to get to and produces amazing views.

Oaxaca city is the food capital of Mexico-- so there is much to eat, drink and explore here. Immerse yourself with locals and tourists alike.

By being part of our team, you will be part of the Family. Our hostel is ideal for solo travelers and being an inclusive hostel is what we aim for. We want our volunteers to feel at home, but also have the energy to make it feel like home to others as well-- because when all is said and done, there is nothing better than making connections with new people while exploring new cultures.

We will be offering salsa classes, and cooking classes, you can practice your Spanish with our staff, make an alebrije at a neighboring village (after they read your energy and tell you what your spirit guide is), taste the differences in mezcal produced in different ways.
We'd love to teach you about the ways of Oaxaca!
