    Description

Hi! Emilia (33, PL) and Stefano (31, IT) here. We both work mostly remotely but although we spend a lot of time together at home, we feel like we need some help to be able to actually relax or go out together, and that’s why we are refreshing our Workaway page. A bit more about us: Stefano loves bad jokes and will be more than happy to share them with you (also many times the same one, even if you don’t find it funny). Emilia loves good jokes and she will also share them with you and gladly explain it if you don’t laugh. Besides, Stefano is a great cook and enjoys spending time in the kitchen, whilst Emilia loves to be fed. We eat vegetarian dishes at home and you’re welcome to join us at every meal, unless we or you are out.

You can get to know Warsaw and its food, sights and people. We will be happy to give you some tips and recommendations about the city. There are a lot of things happening: bustling restaurant, free open-air cinemas, fairs with local food, etc.

  • Help

    Help

We have four pets: dwo dogs and two cats. They need a lot of care: mainly walks, feeding, playing and scratching their backs. We’re happy to invite someone who’s a genuine animal lover and for whom being surrounded by animals means joy. This part is the most important to us: even if you can’t help with the other things, we’re happy to have you if you’re happy to be around the four smols of ours.
Because one of our dogs is scared of men, we’d rather host female travelers. It could work if you’re very non-threatening in demeanor and willing to reassure the dog you have good intentions every time he sees you.

We also have a few small and basic carpentry / creative DIY projects that we could use help with. Emilia is eager to learn carpentry, furniture renovation and all things DIY - if you have that skillset, I’d be extremely happy to learn from you.

    Accommodation

A 70m2 flat with a rather large garden in Warsaw. We live just next to a metro station ("Targówek Mieszkaniowy") from where you can go directly to the city centre in 10 minutes. There is a lovely park right outside our block, a lot of walking paths and bike lanes that go to different parts of the city. You can use our bike when we don't need it, and there's also a good and cheap system of city bikes.

There's a small private room for you. It has a sofa for max 2 people to sleep on and a large wardrobe that you can use a part of.

    Tiny (4 years)

Tiny (officially Lucy, but she so smol) was adopted in March 2026. Chasing ropes and making a human her pillow is what she lives for. Described as „spicy” by our vet.

    Ryszarda (7 years)

Saved from the street in 2023, Ryszunia is a real lady. She’s shy with new people at first, but once she feels comfortable, she’s up for cuddles and vibing together. Her hobbies include, but are not limited to, killing the carpet. Loves to watch the world looking through the window and is waiting for the catio we promised.

    Lisek (16 years)

Rescued in May 2026, this elderly doggo is officially the cutest creature on earth. He has numerous diseases and health issues, but he stays active. When on a walk, loves sniffing the same pee for three minutes and saying hi to other dogs (if his foggy eyes notice them).

    Punio (7 years)

Punio is a 21kg alpha male who loves to assert dominance. If he was human, he would be a right wing catholic white straight male fighting for his disappearing rights.
But when he realizes you are no threat, he is the loveliest dog on Earth: cuddly walk-lover with a huge appetite for life, but also just huge appetite.
Adopted from the shelter 5 years ago he is now getting spoiled to the breaking point. He can get a bit reactive during walks at times.
