  We are a couple who run a rural guesthouse in the Sierra de Aitana next to Benidorm in the province of Alicante.
  
  Our guesthouse provides a beautiful holiday location for the LGBTQ+ community. We're excited to offer a work-away opportunity at our vibrant and inclusive guesthouse, where we aim to create a welcoming and safe space for guests from all walks of life.
  
  We are looking for helpers to assist us with the works around our home. We aim for helpers to come for about six to eight weeks, from January to December.

  Host offers payment in line with the minimum wage

  This host offers accommodation and payment.

  Host has indicated that they will pay at least the minimum hourly wage of their country for each hour worked and that accommodation will also be provided. Any arrangements should be agreed in advance with your host.

  Help

  We look for the following:
  
  -friendly, flexible help with the general running of the guesthouse.
  -Work includes cleaning, tidying the pool area and grounds, helping with guests, and serving meals.
  -We expect helpers to become part of the "family / home team", willing to just pitch in as necessary to get things done.

  1. *Diversity and Inclusion:* A fundamental requirement is a commitment to diversity and inclusion. Helpers should possess an understanding of the LGBTQ+ community, respect for all gender identities, and a dedication to creating a space where everyone feels accepted.
  
  2. *Customer Service Skills:* We seek helpers who are enthusiastic, approachable, and like going the extra mile to ensure our guests have a fantastic stay.
  
  3. *Hospitality Management:* A helper at our guest house will assist us with check-ins, and check-outs, as well as helping guests during their stay in our home.
  
  4. *Housekeeping and Maintenance:* Helping out to maintain cleanliness and overall aesthetics of the guest house is an important aspect of the role. Helpers will work alongside our team to ensure rooms and common areas are well-kept. We have a company that takes care of the general cleaning, but the home is very large, so it is important to keep it tidy. Also, we have a large ecological vegetable garden that would need love and care every day.
  
  5. *Teamwork and Communication:* Effective teamwork and communication skills are essential. Helpers will collaborate with us to create a positive work environment and help provide a good experience for our guests.
  
  6. *Event Planning:* Our guest house hosts small events and weekly dinners, so helpers interested in event planning can contribute to the organization and execution of these activities.
