Hi everyone! 😃
I’m André, half French/Argentinian. I settled a couple of years ago in the wonderful Haute Valee de l’Aude, so attracted by a beautiful community, very open minded and alternative, while creative and active.
I had the chance to get this amazing property offering an outstanding view on the Pyrenees; a bit isolated from any other houses, offering peacefulness... and plenty of liberty to do, create and share....and party 🥳🤩.
Last year we launched our first mini Festival, .. and it has been a great success; creating a magical venue combining family friendly activities in the day time... and moving toward some good party at night time.
We had more than 500 people coming, which was great for a first venue.
The 2023 festival took place end of July and it was a great success too.... now it’s time to clean up and I’ll need some additional hands to help me;
The house is divided in different areas; some permanent residents live here, and I have my private part of the house; it’s quite big and comfortable; I have individual rooms available for helpers.
I love cooking... but definitely not vegetarian... my Argentinian stomach keeps on calling me for BBQ’s 😋. Though not a problem for vegetarians, but Vegan might be a bit more difficult 😔.
Summer season in the area is super busy with constant events, venues, outdoor activities that can be done... and it will be my pleasure to organize some activities together. Besides, I love sharing and exchanging... and you will notice that I talk a lot...
At home there is always something happening, friends popping by... it’s very social and community is great...

In the area, you will be meeting with several nationalities and cultures; I’m half French and half Argentinian and have been traveling the world ... and I love sharing my personal experience. At home you will hear French, English and Spanish. The Brit community is quite important in the area, but as well from some other European countries; if you are keen in speaking and learning Spanish, you will have the chance then by sharing with some good Argentinian friends too...And in the summertime it is difficult to choose – parties every weekend, plenty touristic attractions, markets and a close-by lake to go swimming.
Help
There is still quite some things to dismantle and store from the festival; this will require quite some handling of materials and transport.
Besides There is general maintenance and landscaping of the property.
There is a bit of paint work to be done too in a room.... and a diversity of little tasks; nothing too hard nor too technical.
Finally, for the ones who are comfortable with it, there will be some wood cutting and preparation of firewood for the winter ❄️.

Accommodation
Accommodation wise you will be provided a room for yourself; camping is possible too, offering beautiful and quiet place with a great view.
It’s possible as well to arrange space for traveling vehicles.
What else ...
The area offers multiple outdoors activities such as hiking, horse riding, swimming/canoeing/sailing in the nearby lake of Montbel; natural hot springs nearby too. A bit further out there are beautiful gorges for the hot sunny days, a lot of concerts and private events organized here and there.... and soon here in my new place.
The Mediterranean Sea is two hours away and the first ski resorts one hour away from here... but any destination from home requires a transport mean, since the property is isolated on top of a hill and first public transport is 15 to 30 min away; of course I’ll can drive you when you desire move in the area.
