Update 20/08/22
Hi everyone;
Thanks to everyone for your willingness to participate to the creation and running of the festival, but we are already plenty at home and i can’t welcome and host anymore people.
Next year by mid- July we will do another festival, likely to be grander than the upcoming one 🥳✨💫☀️🥳.
All the best.
Andre.
Hi everyone! 😃
It’s just a year now that I arrived here in the Pyrenees to develop a beautiful and peaceful livingspace and open it to open-minded people driven by the beauty of life. This dream came so truely good and intense that we are now a small group of people living in a socialized manner (not a community).
The household is a old famous property in nature with no close neighbours.
Besides sharing a beautiful place with beautiful people we started creating thematic parties, socio-cultural events together with the beautiful neigbouring community. Ideas and dreams keep on flowing and we need helping hands to help us achieving the next event to come... our new mini-festivals „The Archonautes”. Are you ready to meet the challenge entering this dynamic and helping us to boost up our creations? :)
So for practicalities the 500 m2 house is partly rented for long-term residents (6 people) and other part is a private house where I live with my girlfriend Hanna... my first workawayer :)The community in the region is one of the reasons why I decided to settle here: very open minded people, intercultural, aiming at living on earth in a respectful and coherent way... and of course going along with personal development, well-being and sharing universal love ✨. I arrived here 2 years ago with my van and it’s Workaway once again that allowed me discovering this new world. When I got keys of the house from a helper I became a host. And in the summertime it is difficult to choose – parties every weekend, plenty touristic attractions, markets and a close-by lake to go swimming. Thou everything needs to be done by car since the first village is by 12 minutes driving.
The aim of the festival is to gather people for creativity, food, workshops and of course music. There will be daytime activities for both children and adults, evening for dancing by latin and eventually electronic music. The event will take place in 26.-28.-th of August and it will be the part-two of the series of events to come in the future. The first event took place on 25th of June and was a fundriser for the festival in August and welcomed around 350 people.Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
In the area, you will be meeting with several nationalities and cultures; I’m half French and half Argentinian and have been traveling the world ... and I love sharing my personal experience. At home you will hear French, English and Spanish. The Brit community is quite important in the area, but as well from some other European countries; if you are keen in speaking and learning Spanish, you will have the chance then by sharing with some good Argentinian friends too...And in the summertime it is difficult to choose – parties every weekend, plenty touristic attractions, markets and a close-by lake to go swimming.
Help
The festival to come would require great support for improving the existing infrastructures (construction of dry toilets/showers, electricity works, clearing up of the woods and especially great support needed for the decoration team). Workload-wise I will ask for some flexibility since there are going to be some intense moments of preparations and furthermore we’ll need support to run the show (running the bar, food, entrance, parking, dismantling the venue) during the festival but then of course the space and the fridge will be proportionately available to chill and relax.
We are looking for positive, fun, hard- and team-working people sometimes some activities have to be done autonomously but surely a lot of social moments will be shared. By rule meals are always shared together but exceptions might arise. We are looking for 3 to 4 volunteers (including a couple for the private room) from 10th/15th of august until the beginning of September. If you deeply feel you’re up for it be most welcome but please be reliable with your commitments thank you sign and a smile. No pets and I apologize for the potential vegans to come but I’d rather not accept since the food management would become too complicated and I aim at treating my guest with good food.Languages

Accommodation wise it’s going to be busy (friends and volunteers coming to support) but for sure we always keep a certain living standard at home and moreover food is a daily treat (specially for non-vegetarians ;)). For accommodating workawayers we try to keep a decent standard of living conditions. There is a private room with toilets and bathroom for couples or a caravan or a worse case a nice tent for the short stays.
What else ...
The area offers multiple outdoors activities such as hiking, horse riding, swimming/canoeing/sailing in the nearby lake of Montbel; natural hot springs nearby too. A bit further out there are beautiful gorges for the hot sunny days, a lot of concerts and private events organized here and there.... and soon here in my new place.
The Mediterranean Sea is two hours away and the first ski resorts one hour away from here... but any destination from home requires a transport mean, since the property is isolated on top of a hill and first public transport is 15 to 30 min away; of course I’ll can drive you when you desire move in the area.A little more information
