    Description

Our family of 7 lives on about an acre (3 city lots, mostly fully fenced) in Arco, ID. I am a teacher and my husband is disabled, thus the need for help around here. We have 7 children but only 5 home currently. Our two adult boys used the cabin in the past and helped us out.

For trade, we would like help maintaining the property for 8-10 hours a week. It needs mowed and trimmed (riding lawn mower and electric trimmer), some fences fixed, weeds sprayed, weeding of garden, feeding and cleaning our chicken run (4 chickens), etc. If you are a handyman, we could use a faucet repair or the like.

We have a dry log cabin on the second city lot with electricity and WiFi. There is an overhead fan, mini fridge, built in bunk bed, loveseat, table, chair, swamp cooler/heaters, and 8 gallon portable water w/spigot provided. Cabin has its own large gravel driveway, RV pad, and private access to the property. We have a toilet/shower tent we can erect by the cabin with a portable/bucket composting toilet and hanging shower. Access to water can be through the outside spigot or inside the house if you’d like.

The area is atv heaven! Loos yourself in our hills and mountains, climb Mt. Borah, or hang glide off King Mtn. It is centrally located to many areas of SE, middle, and Southen Idaho, and not too far from Boise. Crater’s of the Moon is 20 minutes away or visit Sun Valley in just over an hour.

We have an old lab/blue heeler, cat, and 5 chickens. They free range but we can pen them up if you have an eager to chase dog. NO dogs that dig! One of our adult boys brought a young puppy when he lived with us 2 summers ago and it dug up fence gates, trees, etc.
