    Description

Our project is an NGO working in the islands of lake Victoria, with an aim of providing quality health care, safe/clean water, education services and more to better the quality of life of children and people in island communities.
We are currently based on Zinga island, an island crossed by the equator.
Where we have a school (Mount Eagle junior school), a medical center, a farm and more

    EDUCATION
At the school: we offer education to over 200 children from pre-primary school level to secondary education. Some of ours students are HIV positive, epileptic or disabled but we try to get the incorporated and give them access to daily medication.
We also offer adult education to illiterate persons in island communities.

    HEALTH
At the medical Center: we have had over 400 healthy babies delivered through our clinic. We offer maternal health care and immunization. Managing malaria, typhoid and other tropical and water born disease.
The clinic is open to the community and used by the school.

    HOME
We are a home to approximately 50 children to stay at the project all year. The rest of the population of approximately 200 children returns to their parents and guardians. We only retain those who haven't any.

    AGRICULTURE
Over the years, especially during COVID, sustainability has proven to be a great tool to provide food to the project. We therefore, grow most of our food, matooke, beans, peas, rice, fruits, vegetables etc that would otherwise be expensive to buy. Agriculture now suppliment our diet.
    Agricultural projects:
    *Fish farming
