Description
Hello all, we are Mélanie and Serge, a couple with two cats, living close to the center of Madrid. We lived in Madrid for 9 years and now also have a place to stay in Portugal so we're in and out. We just finished the renovation of the apartment which is very well located (15 min from Puerta del Sol or Plaza de España), in a very nice neighborhood with young people and several bars and gardens handy.

Travellers will discover Madrid, a vibrant capital and heart of Spain. We live in a typical neighborhood where people like to connect and get together, and would be happy to introduce our travellers to this "Spanish way of life". We're both fluent in Spanish and could teach some language skills.
Help
In the final run-in to get the apartment finalized, we're looking for support to build three pieces of furniture. We already have the plans and someone with strong experience as a carpenter would be welcome. We will provide the raw materials and can help with the tools, but might not be able to find all of them so it would be great if the traveller could bring some

Accommodation
Our flat has three bedrooms and we would make one of them available to the traveller. The kitchen, bathroom and living-room would be common spaces. The apartment is fully renovated and located in a centric area in Madrid, close to the city center and to the biggest garden, full of shops and bars. Transportation to any other area is very easy through metro and bus. We have two cats who are very sweet and love to socialize.
What else ...
Helpers could enjoy Madrid and surroundings. It is a perfect place if you like nature and trekking with beautiful mountains around. Any type of activity can be found in Madrid, public bikes are available and our neighborhood offers classes of yoga, pilates, tai chi, dance, music, singing, drawing...
