My name is Sameera.I live in Cape Town South Africa.I am mother to 5 children , 3 of whom are married.In my home we eat with gusto and try new flavours.We pray as it keeps us grounded. We learn, everyday.We love unconditionally and we embrace imperfection.Visiting here, you will meet my huge extended family of 6 siblings and my children's 29 cousins who range from 3 to 30. We are a family of creative minds , dreamers and doers.Cape Town has oceans, mountains, rivers, dunes and a majestic mesa which overlooks our city.We have flowers in springtime and seals, whales, dolphins and penguins in our waters.

Being part of the school run and seeing a whole other non-touristy Cape Town.When attending our weekly family gatherings you will meet many others and be able to share your experiences as well.We cook and share traditional and experimental food at these get togethers and also happy to try
your dishes. I will love teaching you how to cook and also learn from your cooking skills.Sharing our home means you will be part of our daily routine and tagalong where necessary.At the mosque in Langa township you will meet my students who hail from Transkei,Malawi, Ghana.You will engage with them and learn about their struggles and lifestyles.Projects involving children

Help
I am currently teaching at a mosque in the township of Langa.We need help teaching students (Teaching them Quran will be a help but not obligatory ) ,and telling them about Islam in your world.We would love to expose them to Muslims from all over the world and help them practice conversational English.Our mosque needs repairing and we are looking for volunteers to assist at the mosque with maintenance and offer skills or crafts to the students we are teaching.
