Vanessa was literally a life-saver for us! She did the most thorough house cleaning EVER over a weekend period when my husband was out of town. We have 2 young children, a dog, and extremely busy lives; needless to say, our house needed some major TLC. She went to town on everything and our house sparkled and shined like it never has before-
… read more washed windows, scrubbed floors, cleaned out drawers, dusted everything from top to bottom. She took the initiative on everything. She also watched the kids for short periods of time when I had to run some quick errands- is extremely trustworthy and a very nice person as well. I wholeheartedly recommend Vanessa if you need anything in the way of organizing, cleaning, help with kids, etc. I'm sure she could help in a million more ways as well. Would definitely host her again in a heartbeat!

… read more always willing to share their knowledge with me. It's clear that they have a very loving home, they love their children and vice versa, and Merritt is the best big brother anyone could ask for.
Merritt and Ellie really are very sweet and very intelligent children. A little shy at first, but there were a lot of very sweet and memorable moments when you spend time with them. It was a pleasure to get to help care for them for a short time.
They live in an absolutely beautiful area that is ideal for any outdoor activities... the hiking I did there was unbelievable. Both Eric and Maria generously shared advice on the best places to explore and hike, and encouraged me to get out and enjoy the outdoors.
I did housework, cleaning, laundry, some cooking, spent time with their kids, and other odd jobs such as painting.
All in all, they are a very kind, easy going, loving, generous, fun, interesting family. I feel very lucky to have gotten to spend time with them, and anyone else who stays will be just as lucky.You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

Merritt and Ellie are lively kids you always have fun with! It doesn't matter if we were out for a walk or played at home - we had a great time!
They live in a nice house in a typical American neighborhood. My place was the renovated basement/lower level where I had a lot of privacy. The general household cleaning was very easy. I had a lot of free time. It was great that I was allowed to use their extra car to explore the surroundings! Boulder is a beautiful place to stay!
All in all it was a great time that I miss! I enjoyed every day and I am very thankful for all the trust they put in me in the short time.
I wished I'd stay there for a longer time.
