    UPDATED ON 5 October.::::
    We are full until December! :)
    We are a small community of family and friends about an hour outside of Santiago in the countryside in Champa. Currently, we are working on transitioning into a more eco way of living and running our businesses. We launched our idea a few years ago with an eco-swimming pool which we rent out for events (schools, weddings, reunions, outings....etc) and have been working around this concept ever since. We currently have 7 garden beds, 1 dome-house garden, a small greenhouse, and tons of young fruit trees that need ongoing maintenance. Gardening will be your main job here. We also have a modern design cabin that we rent out. We have so many projects planned for the future including and activity dome to host various holistic, health and fun learning courses, a cafe, an upgraded composting system, and a pirate playground for kids. And we plan to host festival-goers for the 2020 Eclipse Gathering, so we are slowly manifesting energy for that. The project we are currently putting most of our energy in is our kombucha business. We are small-batch brewers and our kombucha lab is onsite. Sometimes we will need help fermenting, bottling, labeling and selling at eco-markets in Santiago. We also have an almost 2-year old toddler smiley, spunky that we ask our volunteers to occasionally help us out with. Must not fear children! ;) For all you artists and builders out there, we have projects that need your help too. We ask that your work for about 6 hours a day. We take a siesta during the hottest hours and volunteers have 2 days off a week. Javier and I (Nikki) are travelers of 6 and 12 years. We know the ropes of backpacking around the world and love to be in the company of those who feel a true sense of Wanderlust as we do. We work throughout the summer season and then we plan to pack up in April, escape the Chilean winter, and hit the road again for 5 months (this time with our son).

    What we can offer:
    -We eat a big warm vegan communal lunch (with salad) every day around 1pm, prepared in our kitchen
    -Volunteers will have their own kitchen with basic food (grains, dry beans, local eggs, vegetables, fruits, seasoning, olive oils, etc) to prepare their own breakfast and lunch. Anything else that is desired but not in the kitchen, must be purchased by volunteers.
    -1 or 2 times a week I will make a pumpkin, banana or zucchini bread for volunteers
    - Accommodation in a glamping (bell) tent - mattresses, clean sheets, blankets, pillows, and towels provided.

    What we expect from you:
    This isn't a punch clock kind of Workaway. We do not have set work hours. That doesn't mean you will be working straight through the day as there will be many breaks or many times we won't need you. Somedays we will need you early, other days you can sleep in and jump in later. Work is generally scattered throughout the day. During the hottest hours of the day, we usually take a siesta and hang by the pool. Volunteers are expected to be available all day 5 days a week. You will have two days off to go out and enjoy Santiago or Valparaiso. It's pretty relaxed here but we are looking for enthusiastic people who want to be involved, be part of the community, and hang out.
