Description
Hello future friend and volunteer,
My name is Lloyd, my friends and I have a mission to improve and expand the knowledge of our Eco project.
We are a non-governmental and non-profit organisation.
The foundation is a community based established in Livingstone in August 2014.
At the moment, my wife and I are taking care of children 2-6 years old of the local school.
Our mission is to raise the awareness of the next generation about the importance of an Eco-friendly environment.
Our vision:
A world where humans take actions to sustainably preserve the planet, the environment and life kinds.
Our mission:
Engaging communities in environmentally friendly activities that can change their lifestyles for a sustainable future
To achieve our goal, I bought a piece of land in June 2019 where we will build an Eco Education Center.
Now my project is starting !
Please feel free to contact me and ask whatever is on your mind.
Blessings from Lloyd and the rest of the team!

Zambia was recently voted the most peaceful nation on earth. I hope you can fully embrace the peace when you arrive.
You will be living and breathing in the beautiful and relaxed natural atmosphere of Kasiya in Livingstone. Livingstone is full of opportunities.
You will hopefully pick up on some of the local language of Chinyanja, Chitonga, Chitokaleya.
I am happy to sit down with you rehearse some useful phrases which will help your personal development here.Help
The main mission is to help building a fence around the garden. Currently the animals are eating all of the vegetables and fruits in the garden, so we need to protect the garden in order to start the eco project.
This will be followed by the development of garden. The vegetable garden will raise money for the on going Eco Education Center development.
We shall also build a biodigest at the center.
After that, the main mission would be to help with the tree project itself. Two pairs of hands plants more trees than one!
Roles will be as following; planting trees, research, gardening, collecting data, and also educating the local community about the importance of an eco-friendly environment.
Water system management will require the help of volunteers who have knowledge on best water management solutions in agriculture, also knowledgable in crop management.
We shall require advise on the planning and set up of the buildings which will consist of the whole center (accommodation for the hosts and volunteers, the school) for the local children. This school will have 2x3 classroom blocks of course with 3 offices and a ablution block as well as a play park for the children.
NB: All the buildings to be built using ecobricks.
Other volunteers have implemented their own ideas to connect the community, maybe if you have a secret set of skills that you can teach. We can happily provide some time and space to assist you.Languages

I came to Livingstone to join Lloyd and the Eco-Project for about 3 weeks in February / March 2017 while taking a little break from my Africa travels. I never planted a tree before in my whole life, but reading about Lloyd's vision and plans I was sure that this is a very interesting project and I was very eager to… read more
Rarely have I met a person so sincere. Llyod is a good-hearted spirit, who burns so truly for his beliefs. Educating the community about an eco-friendly way of living is indeed needed in an area Maramba. I lived here for almost 2 months teaching the kids… read more
First of all thank you Lloyd for allowing me to be part of your team. It was a great honour to be in your company and the 2 months we spent together has motivated me for a lifetime.
Prior to travelling to Zambia on my own, I was hesitant. My first time going solo and it wasn't exactly too close to the UK.
