We currently need help in maximizing space in our kitchen and making our house more cosy.
We are a newly married couple and just moved in into our apartment. Its a an open plan kitchen that directly connects to the living room.we need an interior designer's perspective or someone who is creative. we are actually quite interested in a lot of D.I.Y to make it more budget friendly. .the biggest challenge that we are currently facing is getting ideas that work with our space and also accessing storage solution items.
Basically the work we need done will be : designing the kitchen to make it more spacious, figuring out how we can get a dining area and decor ideas for the living room

We live super close to the city centre (10mins max by taxi) and you can easily access different tourist attractions.
Since my husband and I are working,we will not be able to show you around but we can guide you.
When we are available, we can show you our favourite spots
We need ideas on how to transform the kitchen and living room area.
Depending on what you come up with and the budget, then the execution will take place

You will get your own room, bathroom and toilet. There's WI-FI, the neighborhood is also pretty safe.. we will cost share on food but you are free to cook your own meals. There's no coffee maker unfortunately for the coffee lovers. There's a fridge as well and an oven. If you need to use the washing machine or electric oven,we will cost share on electricity as consumption can be quite high
The airport is 30 to 45 minutes away(but now the roads are being constructed and it might take longer)
You can visit the city centre and get to go to K.I.C.C. and get a really good view of nairobi town, there's maasai market that is quite popular with tourists as they sell a lot of curio stuff and you can also do some shopping in the cbd. Night life(Curfew in mind)in an area called westlands is quite popular and for this you will need a taxi as public transport at night isn't safe. You can enjoy local food and beer ,visit the giraffe center and the elephant orphanage ,fourteen falls, chania falls, cycle or take a walk in karura forest. The options are so many!
