Description
Laid back farm stay with plenty of opportunities for belly rubs with pigs, dogs and cats.
We are a couple living on 10 acres with our 2 dogs, 2 cats, pigs, chickens and alpacas. There is always something to do with fencing, wood cutting, gardening, planting, harvesting, socialising with animals, and enjoying the farm produce. Then or course there’s the next big project we have dreamt up, there’s always a new idea to be worked on!
We are located on the West coast, close to the harbour with plenty of beaches and walking opportunities.
Andrew is a chef and baker so meal time is always a 5 star experience, which often includes his own home brew beer or cider.
Eve works from home but lends a helping hand as soon as the meetings release her.
You will have your own separate accommodation in our tiny house but you must have your own transport to and from us.Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Andrew is Kiwi but has lived and worked overseas. A passion for the kitchen and developing a garden to plate lifestyle, he enjoys exchanging on the approaches taken here vs how things are done elsewhere.
Eve is from Europe originally and an English teacher, so will love any linguistic exchange as she speaks French and Spanish too.
Both of us are well read and travelled, and are usually planning the next trip somewhere.Projects involving children

Help
There is plenty to share while assisting with the daily chores of feeding and watering animals and garden. Most help will be project specific - fire wood, gardening, fencing, outdoor improvements.
