Description
We have a small family run hotel just outside the town of Deniyaya, close to Sinharaja Rainforest. We are a Sri Lankan couple that speak basic English. The hotel has been running for approximately 10 years and we have a large restaurant that is open to the public. Surrounded by tea plantations and overlooking the Gin River it is a tranquil place. This is an area of great natural beauty and tourists come here to go trekking in Sinharaja Rainforest.
We would like a volunteer who can speak English to help with our guests: welcoming them, giving information, answering their questions, explaining the tours.

The help we need is to meet and greet our guests and also general reception duties. Our guests are mostly International and we would value support with speaking English. You will work in the morning and then later in the afternoon/evening when the guest are around. You will be working approximately 4-5 hours a day, 5 days a week. The programme is very flexible and we can discuss it when you come.

This area is famous for its natural beauty, rain forest, tea plantations, temples and waterfalls. Tourists come here to enjoy the animal and bird life and walk in the rain forest.
