Description
The society was established in 2006 in Mudigubba, Andhra Pradesh. Our society runs a school, where we believe that education should help children grow not only in knowledge but also in good values, kindness, creativity, and responsibility.
Our school follows a play-based approach to learning, helping children learn through their head, heart, and hands. Along with regular classroom lessons, students take part in meditation, yoga, karate, cycling, games, sports, dance, music, gardening, handicrafts, drawing, and computer activities. We encourage children to respect others, care for nature, and understand the importance of helping their community.
Nature is an important part of our school life. Our school is surrounded by greenery and designed to provide children with a peaceful and healthy learning environment. We have planted more than 3,000 trees and continue to work towards protecting the environment.
Every year, we organize four mini project week activities, along with a special project week each year. Through these activities, children learn about trees, plants, wildlife, soil, water, and the importance of protecting our planet. We want them to understand environmental issues through practical experience rather than classroom lessons alone.
Our school is located in a quiet, natural setting away from much of the noise and air pollution found in busy towns and cities. Many visitors, including people from other countries, appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and the opportunity to experience life close to nature.
Our work goes beyond education. We organize awareness programs related to health, education, and culture, and we provide less free education to children from economically poor families.
We also support eco-friendly farming, tree planting, and other activities that help restore the natural environment. One of our important goals is to address Deforestation and improve ecological balance in the Sri Sathya Sai district.
We welcome volunteers who would like to share their time, skills, and experience with our school and community. Volunteers can contribute to children's learning, environmental activities, gardening, music, Yoga, arts and crafts, sports, and other educational or community projects.
We provide comfortable guest-house accommodation for volunteers, purified drinking water, clean bathrooms, and freshly prepared South Indian meals. Volunteers who prefer to prepare their own food can also use the cooking materials we provide.
We believe that volunteering is an opportunity for people to learn from one another, share different cultures, and work together towards a common goal.
We believe that small efforts can make a lasting difference. By supporting children's education, protecting nature, and working with the local community, we hope to create a better future for the next generation.
We warmly invite teachers, students, nature lovers, and people from all walks of life to join us in this work. Your time, ideas, and support can help us nurture young minds, protect the environment, and bring positive change to our community.
We look forward to welcoming you to our school and sharing this meaningful journey with you. -

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We believe that children learn not only from books but also from their daily activities and experiences. We want children to develop good habits, care for others, and learn to work together.
Volunteers can spend time with our teachers, students, and local community. They can take part in storytelling, music, yoga, games, cultural activities, and environmental projects. They can also share their own skills and ideas with the children.
We also enjoy learning from our volunteers. People from different countries have different ways of teaching, living, and understanding the world. Sharing these experiences helps our teachers and students learn about other cultures and ways of life.
We welcome volunteers who enjoy working with children, are interested in education, and would like to experience village life in India. You do not need to know everything before coming. A willingness to help, share, and learn is what matters most.
We look forward to meeting people from different backgrounds and working together to make school life more enjoyable for our children. -

Help
Volunteers have the opportunity to spend time with our students and teachers and take part in different school activities. We welcome people who enjoy working with children and are willing to share their knowledge, skills, and interests.
Volunteers can help with activities such as:
Teaching with play way method and creativity activities. Teaching music and dance to children. Taking part in yoga and meditation sessions. Organizing games and sports for students. Helping teachers with classroom activities and making lessons more interesting. Supporting drawing, painting, handicrafts, and other creative activities. Working with children in the garden and helping with nature-related projects.
Volunteers help together with our teachers and other team members. They can share their own skills and also learn from the people around them. You do not need to be an expert in every activity. What matters most is your interest in working with children, your willingness to help, and your respect for our school and its values.
Life at our school also gives volunteers a chance to learn about Indian culture, meet people from different backgrounds, and experience living in a quiet, natural environment.
If you enjoy spending time with children, sharing your interests, and helping with school activities, we would be happy to welcome you to our school. Your time and support can make a real difference in the daily lives of our students. -

Accommodation
Volunteers will stay in clean and comfortable guest houses within the school campus. The school is surrounded by trees and greenery, making it a quiet place to stay away from the noise and pollution of busy towns and cities.
We provide clean bathrooms, purified drinking water, and the basic facilities needed for a comfortable stay.
Volunteers will be provided with three meals a day, seven days a week. Meals are mainly South Indian food. Volunteers who prefer to cook their own meals can also use the kitchen space and cooking materials available at the school.
Our aim is to make volunteers feel comfortable during their stay. After their daily activities at the school, they can relax, spend time with other volunteers, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. -
What else ...
During your free time, you can enjoy the natural surroundings of Mudigubba. You can go for walks, visit nearby villages, explore local markets, or relax on the school campus. If there are any local festivals or community events during your stay, you may also have a chance to take part and learn about local traditions.
Local buses and auto-rickshaws are available for travelling to nearby towns and markets. Our team can help you find transport and give you information about places to visit.
Life at our school is simple. We believe in helping each other, respecting everyone, and keeping our surroundings clean. We ask volunteers to follow the school rules, take care of the facilities, and keep noise to a minimum during meditation, classes, and other activities.
Volunteers are expected to arrive on time for their activities and inform the team if they have any questions or problems. We also encourage everyone to help with small daily tasks and respect the people they live and work with.
We hope volunteers will enjoy their time with us, learn about local life, and feel comfortable being part of our school community. -
