  Description

  Land is a 7 strems piece of land in 850 m altitude, at the village of Seta, the highest village on the Greek island of Evia, (little Switzerland some people call it because of the beautiful pine and fir forests and the waters).
  It is located 20 minutes walk from the village, surrounded by woods, a creek and green fields. Not completely isolated but quite remote. I moved out here three years ago after having spent some time in an permaculture farm, and have been building a place for the Taoist arts ( Tai Chi Chuan, Qi Gong, Taoist Yoga, meditation) and shamanic healing, rituals and initiations, out of mostly natural materials and scraps. Occasionally people come here, they camp, and my aim is, apart from sharing the Taoist arts, to introduce them to an alternative and holistic way of life. We practice, we meditate, we go for walks or waterfall swimming, we harvest herbs and mushrooms, we sing and play music by the fire pit, we become conscious of what we eat, what we say, what we think, but most of the time I am here alone doing all of the above by my self and working on my space, fencing, building, planting, working in the gardens, chopping wood, being creative, enjoying life, collecting herbs and oil and tinctures making and practicing.
  Life here is peaceful. There is no electricity or internet. I have a compost toilet with amazing view, an outside shower with hot water when it's sunny, a little hobbit kitchen and a camping area.
  Meals are light, usually simple. No meat, no flour, no sugar, no coffee, no alcohol. However, breaking the rules is also important for one's health. (There is always a bit of Yin in Yang and vise versa!)

  The first thing I have to offer is of course the study of the Taoist arts. Qi Gong and Taoist yoga on , almost, daily basis and if you stay for a good long period of time, we can also work on a Tai chi Chuan form. I am more than happy to share any knowledge I have on herbs, life in nature and shamanism. If you are in to theatre there is a lot to talk and work on, such as voice work, body work and acting. I am also a former guide, working mainly in Greece, so there is a lot to share on the Greek history and the mythology.

  Help

  Small building projects, fencing, cutting and chopping wood, collecting herbs and making oils and teas, gardening, watering the veggie garden and the tree orchard, drawing signs, cooking. Some times I go away for workshops so you will be home and garden sitting. Occasionally I might have students over but you do not deal with their stay here apart from hanging out.

  Accommodation

  You will be staying in a tent. Blanket and towels available. Creek for fresh water and an outside shower for hot depending on the time and the weather. Outside compost toilet and an outside sink for the morning wash. Please note no chemicals are allowed on the premises. Only organic soaps, shampoo and toothpaste. I eat very light meals to keep a high frequency. I do a lot of fasting and raw eating days. You are welcome to use the kitchen and follow your own diet but cooking meet in the premises is not allowed for energy purposes.

  What else ...

  The area is beautiful. A lot of walks and forests to get lost in. We can arrange short hiking trips together or a quick deep at the waterfall on a hot day. The village is 20 minutes walk with two tavernas and a tapas place, where I sometimes help out. The beaches are about 1 hour drive so, daily trips and maybe an overnight. Transportation is not a thing in Seta. No busses come up here. On your arrival you come by bus to the village of Amarinthos, on the water and I come to pick you up. If you want to move while your stay you need a car or someone to drive you. We all know each other here, there is actually a community of good neighbors in development, with like minded people, so there is always someone to help you out. Sometimes we have social gatherings at the village or in my place mostly for ceremonies, which of course are more than welcome to join.
