  5 years ago, I moved with my 2 children from Germany to Spain. We are now living in a spacious villa with several apartments, private pool, external kitchen, a very big garden and 5 dogs in a quiet urbanisation which is located 12 km from the beach. I am a very flexible and easy-going person who appreciates any kind of help.

  Over the past 1.5 years, we have welcomed wonderful people from Australia, New Zealand, Finland, the UK, Ukraine, Russia, Hungary, and Germany into our home. Each stay has been a truly enriching experience for both sides, filled with memorable conversations, laughter, and shared moments.
  As a family who has lived in several countries ourselves, we love exchanging cultural knowledge and experiences. Staying with us offers travelers not only a comfortable place to live but also the opportunity to connect on a personal level, share traditions, learn about local life, and broaden their horizons through authentic cultural exchange. Guests often find it rewarding to discover new perspectives while also sharing their own culture and stories with us.
  
  Beyond daily routines, we enjoy spending leisure time together if this is something the Workawayer is also looking for– whether it’s cooking together, chatting over a meal, exploring nearby surroundings, or simply relaxing.   Help

  We are a small family living with our special-needs son and 5 lovely dogs, and we would love to welcome Workawayers who can stay with us for 2 to 8 weeks. You won’t be alone—another Workawayer has been with us since November last year and is still here, so you’ll have company!
  
  What we need help with
  Your support would be a mix of:
  - Spending time with our son: simple things like keeping him company, playing indoors or outdoors, helping him during meals, or watching him so he stays safe. Think of it as looking after a curious 3-year-old, although he is older. No special training is required, and lifting is not needed—he can stand up on his own. Either my partner or I will always be around, so you’ll never be left alone with full responsibility.
  - Gardening and outdoor tasks: we sometimes need an extra hand in the garden.
  - Helping around the house: cooking, cleaning, organizing, or other small tasks.
  - Spending time with our dogs: if you like animals, it would be wonderful if you could walk them or join me on dog walks.
  
  Schedule
  During the week, our son goes to school from 9:00 to 17:00, so most of your help with him would be in the early evenings. The rest of the day is flexible, with gardening, light household tasks, or enjoying time with the dogs.

  Accommodation

  Your Accommodation:
  We have two comfortable apartments for our Workawayers to feel at home:
  Apartment 1: A bright living room, a bedroom with two single beds, and a private bathroom with shower.
  Apartment 2: A cozy bedroom with a double bed and its own bathroom (without shower). For showers, you’ll have the choice of three options—either in the main house or outdoors, which is especially refreshing on warm days!
  
  Food & Cooking:
  We usually go shopping together once a week so everyone can pick out their favorite things. You’ll also have access to our outdoor kitchen, which you can use daily for your own private cooking. If you’d rather keep it simple, we can agree on a fixed food contribution during your stay—so you don’t need to worry about groceries.

  Our villa is just 12 km from the beach, which you can reach in about 10 minutes by car – perfect for a spontaneous swim or a relaxed day by the sea. It’s located in a quiet, friendly urbanisation with lots of green spaces, inviting you to enjoy peaceful walks or simply unwind outdoors. At the same time, you’ll find a variety of restaurants and bars nearby, offering plenty of options to try local dishes or spend a cozy evening out. It’s a place where you can enjoy both relaxation and a touch of local life.
