    Description

Come volunteer at our beachfront hostel, where you can sleep under the stars and wake up to sunrise or the sound of the ocean. Built by travellers, for travellers. Come experience it for yourself, leave your mark, and join the family.

Volunteers are always welcome to help us out with daily tasks and small projects. We strongly encourage our volunteers to find things they like doing and do it.

    What is expected from you?
We ask our volunteers to work 3 hours per day. Here are some of the things you can choose to help us with (its not an exclusive list)
    1) Hanging out with the guests and making sure they are having a great time
    2) Taking a few guests with you when you go out for meals, snorkeling or sunsets if you wish. Its more fun with more people :)
    3) Helping us decorating the place - can be helping us with the garden, having more art work around etc
    4) tell us how we can improve our place
    5) Helping us organise events at night: bonfires, pizza nights, beach clean ups etc
    6) Teaching the boys english

    What can we offer you?
This is much more than just a place to volunteer... its a place you can call home, a place to find yourself and be creative and a place to learn about Indonesian culture!

To comply with strict Indonesian immigration laws, we have to charge 30.000 IDR per day (about US$3) for a hammock and breakfast. You can upgrade if you wish when you arrive to a bed/ mattress or tree house (additional cost) depending on availability.

When it comes to bar tabs all vols get happy hour prices and snorkeling equipment is free for you (guests get first choice of equipment). For lunch and dinner you can try various neighbouring restaurants, especially the famous Pakman Warung :)

We are a very basic hostel. There are eco compost toilets and salt water showers. Everything is an open design. You will need to love the outdoor lifestyle to enjoy here. There is Wi-Fi, but no A/C.

We love our place and hope you want join our team.

    How long can I stay?
We invite you to join us for 10 days, if it is working well you can ask to extend. Some stay several months with us.

Can I apply without going through Workaway?
Using Workaway is required. It gives us both accountability and ensures you understand the T&Cs. By contacting us or joining us you agree to have your own health and travel insurance covering volunteering and indemnify the hostel, company, staff, guests, locals and other volunteers/interns against any loss, visa or immigration problems, injury or death or inconvenience how so ever caused.

Want to know how to get to us? Wait and check if we are able to host you. We can then send travel details.
We hope to welcome you to the Team.

PS: please specify your intended visiting dates in the subject.
