    Description

We are a couple with a dog owning a small farm in the Finnish countryside in Vihti, within less than an hour drive from Helsinki. We have both been working in digital marketing business, but in our fifties we decided to change our life and bought a logged house in the edge of a forest close to the Hiidenvesi lake. As we have travelled a lot around the world, it would be lovely to in return get people from all over the world to visit us here in Finland.

The main season for our projects is during Finnish summer time starting sometime in April and ending in September. We are maintaining our property and garden, making firewood and every summer we have some bigger projects like building a wooden terrace or walking trails.

We offer you an experience of traditional Finnish way of life with a modern twist. Depending on the time of the year you come, we are able to teach you different kind of things like berry or mushroom picking in the forest or wild herbs in our garden. We are also able to offer you real Finnish experiences like sauna and rowing a boat on the lake.

  • Help

    Help

Our wooden houses and garden need continuously some maintenance. Thus even one more pair of hands now and then will help us a lot. No special skills are required, but we would appreaciate if you would have some skills in carpentry (woodwork, building, repairing logged houses) or have gained some experience in maintaining and developing garden areas. We expect that you are ready to help us with different kind of projects in our farm, and are fit enough to do so.
