    Description

    Hi everyone,
I’d love to welcome a small group of people to help out with a house renovation project here in rural Canterbury.
My dog Mia and I live on a beautiful, spacious property in Glentui (about 45 minutes from Christchurch). The place is still a work in progress, but it’s a great spot if you’re looking to park up, relax, and stay in one place for a few days.

    What’s on offer:
Plenty of space for cars/vans to park
Peaceful rural setting with lots of great walks nearby
I also have a big bonfire that we could light one evening with a beer and good company 🍻

What I’m looking for help with:
General garden work and scrubbing/prepping interior walls for painting or on rainy days list a few things on trade-me for me, whatever you feel like on the day.

    Timing:
📆 I can also accommodate you sometime in early May and in June.

    A few extra notes:
Best suited if you’re able to sleep in your van but happy to clear a bedroom for you and you need to be happy with a simple setup (kitchen is not fully built yet)
    Perfect for friends travelling together.

If you’re keen for a rural stay, and helping bring a place back to life, I’d love to hear from you. Also happy to teach you about New Zealand, the lifestyle, or teach you a few German words since I moved here over a decade ago to NZ and learned lots along the way that could be handy for your travel.

    Cheers,
    Miriam 🙋‍♀️ & Mia 🐕

You will be able to experience the best of both worlds: Rural property and South Islands' biggest city close by. Plenty of nice walks very close by and Rangiora is almost as big as Christchurch while oxford is only 10 min away and has the worlds bet bakery and a library.

There is plenty of room to park your Campervan on our property or snap up the spare bedroom in the house as long as we can transfer your van mattress inside as there is no bed set up yet.
