Description
I live remotely on a small lake in Northwestern Ontario. I am clearing and building on my land at the moment, but living in a cozy yet spacious log cabin. I enjoy outdoor hobbies like canoeing, boating and horseback riding. I also visit with family and enjoy making music with friends. I go to church regularly and host a Bible study bi-weekly.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
I have lived and worked in a variety of places and always enjoy meeting new people and different cultures. My closest neighbours are family, and we see each other often. The nearest town is a half hour drive. I usually go to town once during the weekdays and once for church on Sunday. Depending on the season, I often gather with family for activities like bonfires, fishing, and camping.
I would enjoy sharing meals and cooking, it is great to learn different ways of preparing food.
Help
I am looking for daily help with filling an outdoor wood stove and watering horses, which is about 1 hour/day of outdoor work. Besides that, a variety of small tasks as they come up, like perhaps some help with cooking and cleaning, chopping kindling, helping get firewood, etc.

Accommodation
Your accommodations will be in a log cabin where I live for the winter. It has power and water and is fully furnished. It is heated with a wood stove. Food will be provided, we can discuss eating and cooking arrangements.

What else ...
The nearest town is the canoeing capital of Canada! Quetico park is nearby. There is no public transportation, so if you want freedom to explore independently of me, I highly recommend renting/getting a vehicle.
My property rules are: no drugs, and no excessive drinking; clean language is expected, particularly around my nephews and nieces.
