Description
We are a family with 4 children living in the mountains near Plettenberg Bay (35 minutes) and Knysna (45 minutes) on our beautiful property with pure spring water, majestic tress, dark night skies and endless mountain views.
A lifestyle smallholding rather than a working farm, we have 4 horses, 2 dogs, 6 cats, chickens, beehives and large organic vegetable gardens.
Our 4 daughters are ages 11, 6 and 4 years old and our newest addition is 6 months old.
We homeschool and our eldest also attends a forest school 3 days a week.
Our girls enjoy horse-riding and walking on our forest trails, swimming in our large dam and love arts and crafts.
We are eco-conscious, free thinking naturalists that work in the natural health and nutrition field.
We also love popping down to spend time on the beaches and exploring the forest trails around the garden route.Types of help and learning opportunities

Help
We would love someone open minded and creative who loves nature, children and animals (especially horses). We are looking for someone who can offer support in our daily flow of life which would include:
some housekeeping, involvement with preparing meals, gardening, planting seeds and tending seedlings to support our aim for a continuous turnover of produce in our organic gardens, working on DIY building or other farm projects including indigenous reforestation efforts, feeding animals, playing, support with homeschooling / homework and housesitting when we’re away. Driving license a plus. If you are an experienced horse rider and can support our eldest to train her pony even better :)
We would also love to expose our girls to other languages.Languages spoken
English: Fluent

You will have a lovely self contained living space in the form of a caravan on the edge of the forest and stream with its own bathroom with bath, spring water, kitchenette and outdoor fire pit adjacent to our home.
