  Hello! My name is Claudia and I live with my husband Giorgio, our 4-year-old daughter Donna, and our 14-year-old dog Alberto, in the hills of Monferrato, a UNESCO World Heritage site in Piedmont.
  Three years ago, we founded a volunteer organization where 27 horses now live. Many of them were rescued from meat traders and have found a second chance here.
  With these horses, we carry out activities with children with disabilities and people seeking authentic connection with animals and nature.
  We are looking for volunteers who want to experience rural life and connect with horses.
  Volunteers can help us with the daily management of the farm:
  • cleaning the fences
  • preparing food for the horses
  • light tasks in the garden, vegetable garden, and green areas
  • support during activities with special needs children
  All activities are carried out with us, working side by side and sharing skills and knowledge. Volunteers will not have direct responsibilities with guests and will never work alone with the horses.
  We also have some rescued young foals growing up with us. Volunteers will be able to witness their growth and journey toward becoming future companions in our activities.
  We live between Cocconato d'Asti and Montiglio Monferrato, two beautiful little villages in the Piedmont hills, about 40 minutes from Turin.
  We offer accommodation in a separate part of our house and share meals. We speak English and French.
  We are looking for well-mannered, curious people who are eager to learn about life with horses and country life.

  Ciao! Mi chiamo Claudia e vivo con mio marito Giorgio, la nostra bimba Donna di 4 anni e Alberto, il nostro cagnone di 14 anni, tra le colline del Monferrato, patrimonio UNESCO, in Piemonte.
  Tre anni fa abbiamo fondato una Organizzazione di Volontariato dove oggi vivono 27 cavalli. Molti di loro sono stati salvati da commercianti di carne e hanno trovato qui una seconda possibilità.
  Con questi cavalli svolgiamo attività con ragazzi con disabilità e persone che cercano un contatto autentico con gli animali e con la natura.
  Cerchiamo volontari che abbiano voglia di vivere un’esperienza vera di vita rurale e di relazione con i cavalli.
  I volontari potranno aiutarci nella gestione quotidiana della fattoria:
  • pulizia dei recinti
  • preparazione del cibo per i cavalli
  • piccoli lavori nel giardino, orto e aree verdi
  • supporto durante le attività con i ragazzi speciali
  Tutte le attività vengono svolte insieme a noi, lavorando fianco a fianco e condividendo competenze e conoscenze. I volontari non avranno responsabilità dirette con gli ospiti e non lavoreranno mai da soli con i cavalli.
  Abbiamo anche alcuni giovani puledri salvati che stanno crescendo con noi. I volontari potranno assistere alla loro crescita e al loro percorso per diventare futuri compagni nelle nostre attività.
  Viviamo tra Cocconato d’Asti e Montiglio Monferrato, due piccoli paesi molto belli nelle colline del Piemonte, a circa 40 minuti da Torino.
  Offriamo alloggio in una parte indipendente della nostra casa e condividiamo i pasti. Parliamo inglese e francese.
  Cerchiamo persone educate, curiose e con voglia di imparare qualcosa sulla vita con i cavalli e sulla vita di campagna.

Inoltre le nostre zone sono ricche di eventi ai quali si può partecipare per poter imparare meglio tradizioni e usanze del nostro bel Monferrato.

  Small garden maintenance, cleaning fences, caring for the animals, helping prepare the horses for activities, painting fences or putting up new sheds, etc. These are the foundations of our daily routine, which is never the same as the last. Many of the tasks listed will be done together, so as to impart new professional skills.

  Piccole manutenzioni del giardino, pulizia dei recinti, cura degli animali, aiuto nel preparare i cavalli per le attività, dipingere staccionate o nuove capannine, etc.. Sono alla base delle nostre giornate che non sono mai uguali alla precedente. Molte delle attività elencate saranno svolte insieme, così da trasmettere nuove capacità professionali.

  You'll stay in a separate part of the house with a large bedroom and private bathroom with shower. Lunch and dinner will be served with us as a family. We'll also take you on day trips. We'll also drive you from your home to the association's headquarters.

  What else ...

  For leisure, large cities like Asti or Turin are easily accessible by bus or train. We are very helpful and welcoming people. Our lifestyle is closely tied to the association's activities and caring for the animals. Dinners are usually eaten late at home, while lunch is almost always at the association's cabin. After this experience, we would love to extend our journey with more significant projects. The only requirements are good manners, good will, and a desire to learn.

  Per il tempo libero le grandi città tipo Asti o Torino sono facilmente raggiungibile in autobus o treno. Siamo persone molto disponibili e accoglienti.
  Il nostro stile di vita è molto legato alle attività dell'associazione e alla cura degli animali. Si cena solitamente tardi a casa mentre il pranzo è quasi sempre nella casetta dell'associazione. Ci piacerebbe molto, dopo questa esperienza, prolungare il percorso con dei progetti più importanti.
  Le uniche cose richieste sono. educazione, buona volontà e voglia di imparare.
