  Hello,
  My name is Caspar (29.08.1990), from Switzerland. I live in Nepal on a little farm with my Nepali wife Jyoti (30.11.1992) and our daughters Sharaï (1.1.2016) and Eléa (10.10.2018). We have build (and rebuild after the 2015 earthquake) our stable-house on the farm. One part, for my family and the other one, for the cow and chickens.
  The farm is located near Kakani in Nuwakot District, only 25 km from Kathmandu. It lies at maybe 1800 m above sea level with a terrific view of the Himalayan Mountain Range.
  The Idea is to have an self-sufficient place, be it energy, water (running, hot and cold), or food supply.
  We could achieve many projects (Kiwi trees plantation, solar hot water and running water), however we have many more ideas to improve our farm.

  As our Farm is very small, you can either :
  1 ) give a voluntary donation of 5 USD per day to cover food costs

  Ich heiße Caspar (29.08.1990) und komme aus der Schweiz. Ich lebe in Nepal auf einem kleinen Bauernhof mit meiner nepalesischen Frau Jyoti (30.11.1992) und unseren zwei Töchtern Sharaï (1.1.2016) und Eléa (10.10.2018). Wir haben uns ein Haus mit angebautem Stall gebaut (und nach dem Erdbeben von 2015 wiedererrichtet), wo auf der einen Seite die Familie und auf der anderen die Kuh und die Hühner untergebracht sind.
  Der Hof befindet sich in der Nähe von Kakani im Nuwakot Distrikt, nur 25 km von Katmandu entfernt. Er liegt ungefähr 1800 m über Meeresspiegel und bietet eine einzigartige Panoramaaussicht auf die Himalaya – Bergkette.
  Unser Anliegen ist Selbstversorgung, sei es bei Energie, Wasser oder Nahrungsbeschaffung. Einige Projekte konten wir bereits verwirklichen (Pflanzen von Kiwibäumen, Warmwasser mittels Sonnen-kollektoren und fliessend Wasser), andere sind in Vorbereitung und wir haben noch viele Ideen, wie wir unseren Hof verbessern könnten.

  Da unsere Farm sehr klein ist, können Sie entweder:
  1) eine freiwillige Spende von 5 USD pro Tag zur Deckung der Lebensmittelkosten leisten,

  Bonjour,
  Je m'appelle Caspar (29.08.1990), originaire de la Suisse. Je vis au Népal où nous possèdons une petite ferme avec ma femme népalaise Jyoti (30.11.1992) et nos filles Sharaï (1.1.2016) et Eléa (10.10.2018). Nous y avons construit (et reconstruit après le tremblement de terre de 2015) notre maison-étable, qui abrite, d'une part ma famille et d'autre part la vache et les poules.
  Ma ferme est située à environ 25 KM de Kathmandu, située près de Kakani dans le district de Nuwakot. Nous sommes à environ 1800m d'altitude avec une superbe vue sur les montagnes de l'Himalaya.
  L'idée est d'avoir un endroit le plus autosuffisant possible, que ce soit au niveau de l'énergie, de l'eau (courante, chaude et froide) ou de la nourriture.
  Bien que beaucoup de projets ont pu être réalisés (Petite plantation de kiwitiés, eau chaude solaire et eau courante), nous avons encore une multitude d'idée pour améliorer notre ferme.

  Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

  EN : I speak four languages (French, German, Nepali and English) and I am always happy to exchange knowledge about linguistic, culture, politics, religion, etc... My wife is Nepali (She only speaks Nepali) and could answer any specific questions about Nepal.
  We being on a farm, we have also some knowledge about livestock and farming (self-taught + traditional Nepali knowledge), but would also happy to learn new things about those subjects (per ex. Permaculture).
  
  D : Ich spreche vier Sprachen (Französisch, Deutsch, Nepali und Englisch) und es freut mich meine sprachlichen, kulturellen, politischen, religiösen, und andere mehr... Kenntnisse zu teilen. Meine Frau ist Nepalesin (sie spricht nur Nepali), kann Ihnen jedoch zu spezifischen Themen über Nepal Auskunft geben. Wir bewirtschaften einen Hof und können somit auch unsere Kenntnisse bezüglich Aufzucht und Land- und Ackerbau mit Ihnen teilen (autodidaktisch erlerntes und traditionelles nepalesisches Wissen), wobei wir diesbezüglich natürlicher Weise sehr erfreut wären, Neues oder uns Unbekanntes (zum Beispiel über Permakultur) mitgeteilt zu bekommen.
  
  FR : Je parle quatre langues (Français, Allemand, Népalais et Anglais) et suis toujours intéressé à partager mes connaissances, qu'elles soient linguistiques, culturelles, politiques, religieuses, etc... Ma femme est Népalaise (Elle ne parle que Népalais) et peut vous informer sur des sujets spécifiques au Népal.
  Comme nous sommes une ferme, nous pouvons également partager nos connaissances au niveau de l'élevage et de l'agriculture (connaissances autodidactes + traditionnelles népalaises), mais nous sommes également ravis d'apprendre de nouvelles choses à ce sujet (permaculture par ex.).

  EN : We have a cow, chickens and two cats. We have daily work to do and then I have some projects/ideas to improve the farm.
  
  D : Wir haben eine Kuh, Hühner und zwei Katzen. Wir haben unsere tägliche Arbeit und zudem habe ich einige Projekte und Ideen um das Haus und die Hofbewirtschaftung zu verbessern.
  
  FR : Nous avons une vache, des poules et deux chats. On a du travail journalier et ensuite j'ai quelques projets/idées pour améliorer la ferme.

  EN : We have one room for a guest for the night. There is no bed, but a mattress is installed.

  FR : Nous avons une chambre à disposition pour la nuit. Il n'y a pas de lit, mais nous installons un matelas.

  What else ...

  EN : In our region, you will mainly find the Tamang caste, but there are also Newars, bahuns and some Sherpas.
  We live a simple life, but everyday there is something to do, everyone has something to contribute on my farm. There is a waterfall not so far away (2-4 hour round trip)
  
  D : Unsere Region ist hauptsächlich von der Tamang – Kaste besiedelt. Es gibt aber auch Newars, Bahuns und einige Sherpas.
  Wir leben ein einfaches Leben, aber täglich gibt es etwas zu tun und jeder hat etwas hierzu beizutragen.
  Ein imposanter Wasserfall (Fung-Fung Waterfall) befindet sich in gut erreichbarer Nähe (Fußmarsch hin und zurück zirka 4 Stunden).
  
  FR : Notre région est principalement peuplée de la caste Tamang, mais l'on trouve aussi des Newars, Bahuns et quelques Sherpas.
  Nous vivons une simple vie, mais il y a tous les jours quelque chose à faire et tout un chacun a quelque chose à contribuer à la ferme. Il y a une cascade d'eau pas trop loin (Tour de 2-4 heures)
