    Description

We are a couple with an arts background wishing to establish an ideal studio space while also practicing permaculture to help us be responsible food producers/consumers. We would like to continue our vision for the surroundings to be transformed into a permaculture forest garden. In 2015 we built a greenhouse with a chicken coop from salvaged materials. We have had wonderful helpers during Summer and Autumn who helped us with our daily duties. These included picking berries and apples and preparing them as jams etc. The future will see that we continue to build our farm into a resident place, which will require constant help with cleaning, planting, harvesting and overall maintenance of the farm. This is a place best suited to those who have respect for animals and people alike and enjoy the quiet and slow pace lifestyle in the country.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Our farm is a place based on permacultural practices, which use nature as inspiration. Therefore those who have a special interest in this can learn from our practical experiences with hands on approach. Our diverse cultural and life experiences can give those who visit a richer perspective, not exclusively related to Norway.

  • Help

    Help

As we are not a farm based on its economical output. We speed half of our time on other projects. This means that we cannot have hellers staying for longer periode than 10-14 days. We welcome new beginners and experienced helpers, who can do simple and repetetive chores such as picking blackcurrant and redcurrants and other berries. There are are small tasks such as grass clipping by hand, weeding and small daily mainatainces.
