Description
I am a single senior lady living in Brampton Ontario. Brampton is a very diverse City an hour from Toronto and a little over an hour from Niagara Falls. I would be happy to take you to visit both of those locations, and other points of interest. My home is all on one level, however my daughter has her own suite in the basement.
I have mobility issues and could really use help around my house. Help with painting or DIY would be very much appreciated.
I speak English and French and would be happy to have a cultural Exchange. I would like to learn Spanish and Mandarin. German would also be of interest to me.Types of help and learning opportunities
Language practice
Gardening
DIY and building projects
Creating/ Cooking family meals
Help around the house
General Maintenance
Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
I love to learn about different cultures. It is important to me to be sensitive to the diversity of people in my city. I have always felt that we can all learn so much from each other if we are only open and non-judgemental. I learned a lot about that in my career as a nurse.
I speak French and English and would be happy to do language exchange with Spanish, Mandarin or German speakers.Help
Help with painting / DIY or someone who can prepare or help prepare meals, or someone who can do some gardening and general home help. If you are able to do more than one of these tasks, that is even better! I do have some mobility issues but you will not be required to do any personal care or lifting.

I'm very fascinated by languages so I'm interested in learning yours ( especially Spanish, Mandarin or German) and sharing mine (English and Canadian French).Accommodation
You will have a private room with a queen bed, dresser drawers, bedside table, closet. There is one shared bathroom, and the rest of the house is shared. It is a modest but comfortable home on a quiet Street.
What else ...
I could take you to visit Toronto and Niagara Falls and other nearby points of interest. I love live theatre, concerts, multi cultural festivals and comedy shows and because I am disabled, I have a special pass that allows me to take a companion to many of the theatres and attractions for free. (my disability is related to narrowing of the spine in my low back. It does not affect my driving ability, but I can only stand or walk very briefly without pain. I don't use mobility aids in the house but I generally use a walker outside, and if we were going somewhere that required a lot of walking, I might be dependent on you to push me in a wheelchair.)
There is decent public transportation.A little more information
