    Description

Welcome to our yoga space in Arambol – a small, heart-centered healing space in the middle of vibrant Arambol, just one minute from the beach.

We are not only a yoga space – we’re also a guesthouse, which means there’s always something happening behind the scenes: preparing rooms, welcoming guests, maintaining the space, sharing meals, and creating a warm, beautiful atmosphere for everyone who visits.

Our project is rooted in the intention to offer a space where people can reconnect with themselves, slow down, and experience healing through yoga, meditation, and ancient energy practices like Pranic Healing and Kundalini work.

The space is run by Ramabuddha, an experienced master and meditation teacher, and Yvi, a yoga teacher and holistic mentor who supports the organization and flow of the space. We also have local staff members helping with daily housekeeping, and depending on the season, other volunteers who support in various ways.

We currently employ around 2–3 locally paid staff members year-round. Their roles include cooking, housekeeping, cleaning, and general maintenance, helping us keep the guesthouse and yoga space welcoming and well-organized for everyone. They work alongside us, and sometimes with volunteers, to create a harmonious environment for guests and our conscious community.

We are looking for two volunteers to support us with housekeeping and general tasks, as well as one yoga teacher who is also open to helping with light daily duties such as tidying or assisting around the guesthouse.

As a Workawayer, you may be involved in different areas depending on your skills and interests:
    – Supporting with yoga teaching or class hosting
    – Helping with housekeeping or light maintenance
    – Assisting with welcoming guests or creative tasks like flyers or social media
    – Contributing to the peaceful, healing atmosphere of the place with your presence

We live simply, close to the sea, surrounded by cafés, local markets, and a conscious community offering Ecstatic Dance, kirtans, workshops, and soulful gatherings.

This is a space to give and receive, to work with presence, and to feel connected – to nature, others, and yourself.

    We warmly welcome you. 🌿

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

While we don’t offer structured activities or access to healing sessions or courses, you’ll naturally experience cultural exchange through daily interactions with us , our local team, and guests from around the world.

Living in Arambol also means being surrounded by a vibrant international community — from Indian locals to travelers and yogis from all backgrounds. You’ll have the chance to explore that world in your free time, whether it’s by connecting with people at the beach, visiting local cafés, or exploring the town’s markets and events.

We love hearing about your culture, your stories, your way of life — and we’re happy to share ours too.

It’s a simple exchange — through presence, responsibility, and daily life.

  • Help

    Help

We welcome Workawayers with an open heart – whether you’re a certified yoga teacher, a creative soul, or someone who simply enjoys being helpful and present in a mindful space.

Depending on your background and energy, your support may include:

    🧘‍♀️ If you’re a yoga teacher:
    – Teaching 2 drop-in yoga classes per day (60–75 mins each)
    – Being present at scheduled class times, even if no students attend
    – Sharing about our other offerings (Pranic Healing, Kundalini sessions) with guests - a separate commission can be discussed
    – Supporting the peaceful, healing atmosphere of the space

🧹 If you’re a general helper or creative type:
    – Light housekeeping (sweeping, helping prepare rooms, watering plants, etc.)
    – Creating posters, helping with social media, or doing small creative projects
    – Supporting in guest interactions and helping things flow smoothly
    – Occasional errands or helping with daily needs around the house or garden

We usually ask for about 3 hours of help per day depending on the season and your role.

We work together in a fluid, mindful way, and we love when people bring their own gifts. Sometimes we share skills naturally – whether it’s meditation, energy work, cooking, or just having conversations that inspire.

You’ll have plenty of free time to explore, rest, and connect with the beautiful community here in Arambol. If you’re open-minded, self-responsible, and enjoy calm, conscious living, you’ll feel right at home.

    Accommodation

We offer a private room for our Workawayer, which is clean, safe, and simple, with a bed, fan, private or shared bathroom, and a peaceful vibe. The room has natural light and a small balcony or seating area.

20-25 hours help a week (4-5 hours, 5 days) We don’t provide food, but we’re located in the center of Arambol, surrounded by many affordable cafés, Indian thalis, and healthy food options — all within walking distance. There’s also a small kitchen area you can occasionally use for simple things like tea or fruit.

We ask for respectful, clean, and quiet use of the space, as it’s also a healing environment.

We do not provide set meals as part of the exchange. However, there are plenty of affordable and delicious food options just steps away – from local thalis and fresh fruit stalls to healthy cafés and beachside restaurants. Workawayers are welcome to use our common kitchen to prepare their own meals, and depending on the situation, we sometimes share meals together as a community. This gives you the flexibility to explore the local food culture while also enjoying the possibility of shared home-cooked moments.

You’ll be responsible for your own food, transport, and personal needs. Scooters and rickshaws are available for getting around, and everything you need is within walking distance.

Please bring a self-responsible mindset and a willingness to contribute with presence and care — you’ll get the most out of the experience that way.

If you’re a digital nomad or planning to work online during your stay, please note that Wi-Fi in Arambol (and India in general) can occasionally be unstable. In the main season (November–March), the connection is usually good enough for most basic remote work, but short power cuts or signal drops can happen — so it’s important to plan accordingly and have flexibility in your online schedule.
