Description
Hi! I'm Damià, a nature enthusiast living in a peaceful and remote corner of Catalonia, surrounded by forests, mountains, and a stunning lake. I live in an old farmhouse where I'm slowly building a life project connected to the land, simplicity, and community.
The place is quiet, with plenty of space to breathe, create, and be. I'm always involved in different tasks—taking care of the house, the garden, the animals, and little by little shaping the space into something meaningful. There's always something to do, and I appreciate help, presence, and exchange.
You'll be sharing the space with me and my two lovely cats, and from time to time, some cows, deer, or wild pigs nearby. The area is perfect for nature lovers, with endless trails, calm waters, and open skies.
If you're looking for a slower rhythm, connection with nature, and a space to contribute your energy, this might be a good fit. I'm happy to welcome open-minded, respectful, and curious people willing to share a piece of their journey.Types of help and learning opportunities

During your stay, you'll have the chance to experience life in a remote part of Catalonia, immersed in nature and far from the rush of cities. I enjoy sharing time, meals, and conversations, and I’ll do my best to make you feel at home and part of the daily rhythm here.
You can learn about local traditions, simple rural living, and how to care for a space that’s deeply connected to the natural world. I'm happy to share what I know—from natural health practices and cooking to the stories of the land and its surroundings.
Every visitor brings something different, and I see hosting as a mutual exchange. I’m always open to new perspectives, skills, and ideas, and I value the creativity and energy that each person brings. More than just helping, I hope you’ll feel like part of a small team, with space to contribute, learn, and simply enjoy being here.Help
The help I need is mostly around the house and the land where I live. This can include tasks like cleaning, chopping or collecting firewood, basic gardening, small maintenance jobs, organizing spaces, or feeding the cats if I’m away for a day. Sometimes it’s just about lending a hand with whatever comes up in daily life.
All the help is related to my private home and not to any rental or business activities and paying guests. I’m simply looking for a cultural exchange and some support in taking care of this remote and beautiful place.
I value people who are practical, flexible, and happy to contribute with care and common sense. There's no rush here, so things happen calmly and respectfully, depending on the day and the energy.Languages

A private room with private WC on on the apartment downstairs shared with me, (the apartment upstairs it's an airbnb and at weekends theres people coming and have some noise.
Also possibility to put tents from spring to autum.
I'm here renting this place, and as it's an amazing place (at airbnb its 500e the weekend) and i'm not looking to real work, just some help and enjoy and share this place, i propose to share the expenses of food.
I do not provide meals, as the help I ask for is very light—only around 3 hours per day, 4 days a week. This is not a full volunteer exchange but more of a relaxed cultural stay with a bit of collaboration. The place itself is quite special: it is normally rented out for €500 per weekend, so I believe that offering free accommodation in such a unique location already makes for a fair exchange.
Workawayers are invited to cook their own meals. There’s a fully equipped kitchen and a beautiful shared space to enjoy your food. If we feel like it, we can also share ingredients or cook something together occasionally. I’m happy to guide you to the best local produce and nearby shops.
Workawayers are welcome to cook their own meals, and we can also share the cost and cook together sometimes if it feels natural. There’s a fully equipped kitchen and plenty of space to store food. I’ll be happy to recommend local products or places to shop nearby. What else ...
