Florence was an absolute gem! She brought joy and humor to every moment, making guests feel truly welcome. Willing to go the extra mile for guests and for us. Her professionalism was impeccable—always on time, patient, and perfect in her job. She was incredibly helpful, engaging, and had a natural way of making every interaction special. Beyond

And when it came to animals, she was simply the best—kind, attentive, and deeply caring. How will we ever settle for less after experiencing Florence? She truly set the gold standard!
I had the best time that I will cherish forever, I would 100% recommend visiting and working with Marina if you get the chance.
Not only the view is incredible everyday between the mountain and the sea but Marina and Stefanos are forces of nature with so much to share and to learn from.

After work hours you can go to the sea by foot, walk on the beach to get to the village and buy a fruit, a snack, or get groceries for the week.
It's the perfect place to go if you look for a beautiful work space where you can help in a 25 year-family business, enjoy nature and sunshine, take care of yourself in the peaceful olive grove.
Whether you stay 2 or 7 months I'm sure you will learn so much and create a lot of good memories as I did.

My stay with Marina and Stefanos in Rovies was perfect!
I had such a good time and fell in love with the little village.
My job mostly consisted of cleaning the rooms. Marina patiently explained all the details and was always very considerate. In the mornings I would start at 8 am with sweeping the outside areas of the hotel and setting the

I would usually work until around 2 or 3 pm and then have the afternoon off, where I usually went to the beach. On my days off I explored Rovies and Limni and also went scuba diving twice, which was magical.
Regarding my accommodation I had everything I needed, equipped kitchen to cook my meals, bedroom, bathroom.
Marina and Stefanos also have an olive oil business and I kept being amazed at the amount of things the two of them get done every single day. I learned a lot and hope to come back one day.
If you get the chance, definitely go stay with them. You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

Anna was responsible for cleaning the rooms and within a day she learned all the necessary things. She was discreet and pleasant. Paid great attention to detail. She was selfeficant and enjoyed her stay with us as much as we enjoyed her help. Our cooperation was perfect

I have been extremely lucky to have found Stefanos and Marina and be able to come to their beautiful hotel to help out as my first workaway experience. I had the best time, couldn’t ask for anything better. Stefanos and Marina are generous, welcoming and heart-warming people. I have always felt welcomed and comfortable among them. At the same

The hotel is situated on such a gorgeous place on the island of Evia, surrounded by olive trees, with stunning views overlooking the sea and the mountains.
Regarding my responsibilities, every day I would make sure that the outdoor areas of the hotel are clean and tidy – doing some sweeping – followed by setting the tables for breakfast. Most of the morning I would spend helping out in the kitchen (preparing coffees, teas, eggs together with Marina and Stefanos .., dishwashing, cleaning, vacuuming, mopping), interacting with guests (serving) and replenishing the breakfast buffet. Till approximately 2pm, sometimes 3pm, I would then spend ironing sheets and towels using a rotary iron. From this time on I would have a free afternoon which I usually spent at the beach and wondering around the village. The village is quite small but one can find everything they need, including a number of mini markets (which sell incredible fruits) and a supermarket. I also had a chance to try out scuba diving in the village and explore further places such as a beautiful town of Limni and Athens (on my way back).
I absolutely love nature and remote places so this was perfect for me. I was able to connect with nature, be present and practise yoga and mindfulness every day. There are, however, also restaurants and bars one can go to in the village if they wish to. There are also nice beach bars if one does not feel like hanging out at a beach, which is completely empty. There are beaches all along the coast.
It was like a dream to be able to spend a couple of weeks with Stefanos and Marina at their gorgeous place. I had the best time! Thank you for everything! You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

She is careful and observant.
She is pleasant and always in good moοd. A valuable help in setting breakfast and cleaning the kitchen. There was no need to say things twice. She was consistent and responsible. I was lucky to have her during the summer season.
