Description
Hey everyone, namaste 🙏
We are a small family home in the heart of Maharashtra, near Mumbai. Our place has been a warm spot for travelers from around the world, and now we’re excited to open it to Workawayers for a cultural exchange.
This is not a business role — we are looking for volunteers who want to share skills, creativity, and ideas while learning about local traditions, food, and ways of life. You might help us with gardening, cooking family meals, art or eco-projects, light maintenance, or language exchange.
In return, you’ll experience life in a peaceful rural setting, enjoy home-cooked Maharashtrian food, and join us in local activities. We hope to learn from you as much as you learn from us!Types of help and learning opportunities

Help
We are a family home in the countryside that welcomes travelers from around the world. As part of our cultural exchange, we’d love to share our daily life with you and invite you to get involved in creative and meaningful ways.
Some areas where your help and creativity would be appreciated:
🌿 House & Garden: Light upkeep, planting, watering, small DIY projects, and keeping shared spaces beautiful and cozy.
🎨 Creative Exchange: If you enjoy photography, writing, music, or digital skills, we’d love to exchange ideas and learn from you. For example, you could help us showcase the natural beauty of the place, share storytelling ideas, or introduce us to new creative methods from your own culture.
🍲 Cultural & Culinary Sharing (non-commercial): We love sharing meals and learning about new cuisines! You’re welcome to cook together with us for fun or to share your favorite recipes — purely as a cultural exchange, not involving food or drink preparation for paying guests.
🗣️ Cultural Sharing: Practicing languages, teaching us something new, or simply spending time together exchanging experiences and learning from one another.
We see this as a two-way exchange — while you share your ideas and energy with us, we hope you’ll also learn about local traditions, nature, and the slower pace of countryside life here.Languages

You’ll have a cozy private room just outside the villa, offering you comfort and quiet time to rest. The space is simple but homely, with everything you need for a relaxed stay.
When the villa is not occupied by guests, you are welcome to enjoy the shared areas such as the reading space, pool, and garden. The outdoors is perfect for relaxing, stargazing, or simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
Our staff lives at the farmhouse too, so if you need anything, and they love to spend time together sharing meals, stories, and experiences. What else ...
During your time off, there are plenty of ways to relax and explore. The villa is surrounded by peaceful countryside, where you can go for walks, read, or simply enjoy nature. If you’d like to explore further, there are buses, trains, and cabs that connect us to nearby towns and cities.
Our villa is surrounded by amazing villages, so you can take a day trip to explore its vibrant markets, cultural landmarks. Closer by, there are local sites, temples, and nature spots where you can get a glimpse of everyday Maharashtrian life.
Whether you prefer quiet time with a book, connecting with locals, or heading out for cultural sightseeing, you’ll find something to enjoy during your stay.A little more information
