We design, build, monitor and evaluate ocean awareness experiences for schools, government, NGOs and communities. We are focused on educating communities of our wonderful yet fragile ocean backyards and the creatures that live within it. In so doing we aim to empower and unite the next generation of ocean leaders.
We are a leading resource in ocean literacy, ed-venture, community building, youth empowerment, and program innovation.. We are currently looking for trained swim teachers , trained lifeguards, for October 2018 - August 2019. Minimum 4 weeks commitment.
Our biggest project of the year happen July -August, teaching over 100 children to swim, snorkel and conserve.

Veta, the founder was voted Adventure Ambassador for 2017, by the Caribbean Tourism Organisation. She also sits on local conservation boards, and will be a wonderful host!
Veta is a single mom, with a 6 year old boy, volunteers willing to help with looking out for and inspiring creativity and adventure in this young mind are also welcomed!

Learn about Montserratian history and culture. About our volcanic island and buried city. Local foods and beverages. Outdoor education, marine conservation, youth education, and meet interesting people with amazing stories!
Help a small local water excursion and ocean education business by assisting with snorkelling and kayaking trips. Meet locals, explore and discover new beaches, take photos, assist with teaching children to swim, and sea safety. You will meet local fishermen and divers, learn about our marine life, assist on ocean conservations projects, help with our kids club and learn how to catch and cook lion fish. Lifeguards and swim instructors, are URGENTLY NEEDED.
We're looking for people that:
•Are passionate about photography, videography, social media (underwater photography is a plus)
•Have a background in marine science/youth education
•Are swimming teachers, lifeguards, etc.
The minimum stay is 4 weeks, you'll work 5 days a week (hours flexible) with plenty of time for exploration, kayaking, swimming, hiking, boat trips, and village life.

You will live in a shared house in the village of Salem, the island's city of heritage and culture, located near local restaurants, bars, supermarkets, beaches, and the volcano observatory. A 30 minute walk up a hill to main shops of the village but a 5 minute walk down the road or across the street to the beach,
Hiking, exploring our modern day Pompeii, discovering our very unique island and magical flora and fauna.
A very good portfolio building experience if you are interested in photography/videography.
