Description
We are Andi (40) and Tanja (38) with two small kids, born in Oktober 2019 (Fridolin) and Oktober 2021 (Lucija). Andi is a graphic designer and Tanja is a ceramics teacher in an art school. Our two kids are very vivid and communicative. Fridolin goes to Kindergarden and Lucija is still at home. We give our best to live our life in a largely ecological way. We are part of a community garden in the village where we grow vegetables together with others. In the past we worked a lot with volunteers which helped us to build our house with ecological materials and also were a great help in the garden and with the kids. There are lots of things, especially gardening and art you can learn and experience and further more you can be part of project which is something really meaningful.
Help
We just started a broad project which brings together protection of species and art. Therefore we will create a garden on a 9000 m2 land with a big pond, lots of fruit trees, a wildflower meadow and a great variety of bushes and also some special actions to create space for different species. This garden should be the base for memorials dedicated to threatened animals and plants. Therefore artists will be invited to create those memorials. Having the sixth extinction in the background the whole intent should be a start of a cultural deal with the big loss of this time we are living in. But for all that there we need others to help bringing it to reality. So far there is the land and the vision. In spring we will make a fence so that we can hold some sheep and to keep the deer out of the garden. Also we will plant different kind of bushes and fruit trees. And we'd love to dig the pond, probably with a bagger. A nice Pavillon we probably start to build in summer.

Accommodation
We have a nice guest room which has a separate entrance. It's around 20 m2 big and very quiet with a small couch and a little table. In winter we have another room, which has the same size and usually is the children's room, but because the proper guest room is not insulated very well, we use the children's room in winter for our guests. The bathroom and toilette we share.
What else ...
The location is not far from Graz, by bicycle you need 40 minutes and by bus 15, and by train 9 min. To the bus station it is 15 min to walk. There are lots of hiking trails around.
