Description
First and formost workawayer must be willing to learn, and be committed to helping do the tasks at hand. Our animals depend on us for there very lives, so it our job to make sure they get the care they need. In sharing our work load with workawayers, we have a responsibility to make sure the care and welfare of our animals is meet on a daily bases, regardless on how our day goes.. please dont inquire until you have looked at our location on google earth, thanks
I have a remote farm i started as a young women and its in the proccess of development and construction. My partner and i love the outdoors as well as hunting, fishing, trapping, and horse packing in the mountains. I have a small horse breeding program, as well as Jersey cows that give us milk, chickens for eggs and meat, raise pigs over the summer months, and have a small breeding group of meat rabbits. We have a big garden and greenhouse that supplies most our fresh veggies, fall time brings on canning and preserving food. We are off-grid but have cell service and working on wifi witch will be free to workaways.Types of help and learning opportunities

We have such a variety of things we do here on the ranch i am sure there is something for everyone, an extra set of hands to pass things is always nice.
We have animals to care for, pens to clean, construction, carpentry, fencing, small mechanics, and yard work, any work after the required hours set out by workaway program will be paid work regardless of what it is. Any contracts that we take on will be paid work if the workawayer has the skills required for the job at hand..

I have a small camper and a small cabin (in renovations will have 1 double bed and i single as well as full amenities) with cook stove, fridge, table, double bed.
Food and means to prep food will be provided, however any special food is at you own expense, we will cook potentially 3 meat a week pending on time availability.
We may have a vehicle available for use to commute to town or local site seeing, pending on situation/time of year.What else ...
My place is located 1km from the Yukon River so good fishing, great places for walks along the banks, mountains close by. Horse back ridding pending on experience, views of Northern lights in winter months, canoeing, or kayaking, swimming, wildlife viewing.

I am find with dogs but no unfixed males, and they have to be good with livestock as my chickens roam free. Cats would be fine as well all other animals negotiable.
